Barely 25 minutes east of Puerto Plata International Airport, on the Dominican Republic's north coast, nestled amoung swaying palms and directly on Cabarete Bay beach is the lovely gated community of Bahia de Arena. Within this safe and well maintained community is our home we affectionately refer to as the Jewel of the Bay-Joya de la Bahia!
You and your quests will love your stay in this authentic Dominican styled home that has 3 air-conditioned bed rooms each with it's own ensuite washroom, and each with it's own exit to small private teraces! Bright Spanish style decor and colours complete the interior of this charming home. Smell the ocean breezes from the front verandah and take just a 60 second walk to the stunning Cabarete Bay beach!

The small unique town of Cabarete is world renowned for its ideal conditions for kite boarding and windsurfing. But it is much more that a "kiting town" with bars and restaurants on the beach, scuba diving and snorkeling and a host of other activities no more than a short walk from Joya de la Bahia!
Two magnificent golf courses are just 20 minutes away-Playa Dorada in the west and Playa Grande in the east-Playa Grande, often referred to as the "Pebble Beach of the Caribbean" designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. boasts 10 holes hugging the ocean. Golfers from the back tee will need to carry over ocean sea-cliffs on at least six holes. Don't forget your camera, the scenery is quaranteed to blow you away!
Tours can be arranged for you on site and you can watch the whales play in Samana Bay, thrill to the challenge of deep-sea fishing, take a romantic walk under the enchanting waterfalls of El Limon or just plain "chill" on Cabarete Bay Beach seconds away from Joya de la Bahia!
