Sea Lavender is a beachfront cottage located on Elbow Cay,
two miles
south of the quaint village of Hope Town. The house and
freshwater pool
overlook the Atlantic Ocean and a sandy beach, nestled on an
acre of
private grounds. The open living, dining and kitchen areas all
enjoy views
of the pool and ocean. The kitchen is a cook's delight with fine
equipment, two ice makers, an island 5 burner cooktop with
seating for
four. The living room has a daybed which can be used to sleep
a fifth
person. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed
overlooking the
water and a large bath with tub/shower. The second bedroom
also has a
queen sized bed and a small bathroom with shower stall.
A screened gazebo overlooks the pool and ocean and
provides a perfect
spot to watch the sun set over White Sound.
Sea Lavender is near the Abaco Inn for fine dining and
entertainment.
There is a public dock a five minute walk from the house for
those who
choose to rent a boat. There is a grocery store around the
corner and a
liquor store nearby. Vacationers can enjoy exploring the island
on a golf
cart, which can be rented on the island.
Hope town is a lovely village with colorful old homes in the
Bahamian
tradition, surrounded by picket fences and tropical landscaping.
There are
several rentaurants and bars, shops, and a beautiful harbor
with its
famous candystriped lighthouse. Elbow cay provides
vacationers with
opportunities for the very active or those wishing to relax by a
pool and
stroll the beaches.

Sea Lavender has a 32' freshwater pool and a screened
gazebo for naps, reading, gazing at the ocean or having a
sundowner while watching the sun go down over the Sea of
Abaco. The beach in front of the house is suitable for
swimming, beachcombing and sometimes surfing. The home is
in a very private setting with no near neighbors.
