Constructed in 1987 and completely refurnished and redecorated in 1999, This Schooner Bay Condo is comfortable and attractive. Located just outside of Christiansted, it offers superb convenience to shopping, beaches, watersports and restaurants (among the best in the Caribbean). St. Croix's weather is perfect year around and the beaches and reefs are among the most beautiful in the world."
Schooner Bay is conveniently located near Christiansted. The entire island can be easily accessed by car or jeep; we will be pleased to assist you with your auto needs. The Westside pool at Schooner Bay offers a panoramic view of Christiansted Harbor and the reefs on the sea. Totally redecorated and refurnished in 1999 with a very comfortable tropical style glass and rattan motif. A comfortably furnished 30' Gallery provides a view through the masts of the boats in the marina to the town, harbor and sea.

The town of Christiansted is located on the north coast of St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The other two major U.S. Virgin Islands -- St. Thomas and St. John -- are located about 30 miles north. St. Croix has it's own Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport, with flights arriving frequently from San Juan (Puerto Rico), Miami, and St. Thomas. Schooner Bay is about 20 minutes from the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport.
*Since St. Croix is a U.S. possession, you need not worry about currency exchange, language barriers, or the citizenship identification hassles of non-U.S. islands. Yet, because St. Croix is a free port, you obtain the benefit of duty free purchases of things such as jewelry, cameras, perfume, and, of course, liquor.

St. Croix is also loaded with beaches, reefs, and recreational water sports opportunities. Among more than a half-dozen major beaches, Sandy Point, in the southwest, is a nesting ground for endangered sea turtles. Beaches at three off-shore islands are easily reached by boat and offer isolation and adventure: Buck Island Reef National Monument (an 800-acre nature reserve frequented by snorkelers, swimmers, and hikers), Green Cay, and Hotel on the Cay. The island offers nearly 50 dive sites for scuba diving (wrecks, reefs, underwater trails, gardens, and walls), plus deep-sea fishing on Lang Bank. The island includes three major golf courses: the Buccaneer, Duggan's Reef, and the challenging Carambola, designed by Robert Trent Jones.
