Explore our vacation house in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin that we are calling the East Street Retreat. The house was purchased as a rental property for others to enjoy in the resort community of Elkhart Lake.
We are renting the house on a weekly basis during the summer and for weekly and weekend rentals during the off season.
Elkhart Lake is a very special place to us because it is close to family and friends. It also recently became the place we exchanged our marriage vows. The location is truly ideal for a family as the beach provides endless hours of entertainment for children. It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children can play and you can socialize and soak up some sun. It is also a great place for a group of adults to go for a fun escape from it all. The town offers plenty to do with a variety of places to eat, drink, golf, shop and fish.
It is difficult to put into words, but once you spend a few days in the sun in this intimate little community, you will not want to leave. We hope you may have the opportunity to join us and share in the fun.
East Street Retreat has four bedrooms with two full baths and is perfect for your family vacation or a weekend getaway with a group of friends. Decorated with an eclectic flavor consisting of antique furniture from local dealers, the feeling is relaxed and casual.
Outside you'll find your choice of a deck or screened in porch for you to soak up some sun, watch people and admire the beautiful view or take a stroll down the street to the beach.

Rental Rates are subject to time and availability. A minimum of one week is required between Memorial day and Labor day. Weekly and weekend rentals are available September through May. Weekly rentals are typically Saturday to Saturday.
Weekly Rates...From $1800/week (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Daily Rates...From $350/night with a 3 night minimum
Check-in after 3:00 PM & Check-out before 10:00 AM.

A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A RESERVATION. PERSONAL CHECKS FOR DEPOSITS SHOULD BE MAILED TO THE CHICAGO ADDRESS. CASHIERS CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS FOR THE BALANCE OF THE RENT ARE DUE UPON ARRIVAL.
For weekly rentals, check-in time is Saturday, after 3:00pm and Check-out time is Saturday no later than 10:00am. Prior to leaving, please put all furniture, kitchen utensils and miscellaneous household items in their original location. If you have the time, we would greatly appreciate all used bed sheets and towels be left in a pile in the master bedroom. It is most important to us that the house is clean upon your arrival. Straightening up prior to leaving will allow us more time to clean everything for those who follow you.
Please keep in mind, this is our home and we ask you to respect it. Help us by being careful with the house and the furnishings.

East Street Retreat is a block away from the sandy private residential beach. Elkhart Lake offers beautiful clear, blue water and sandy beaches for swimming, boating and fishing. It is the fourth deepest lake in the state and has a sandy bottom that gently slopes down making an ideal area for children to play all of those wonderful water games and for parents to relax.
