We have a beautifully furnished log home at the base of teton pass with wonderful mountain views. The property is situated at the base of the mountains on 2.5 acres adjacent to National Forests, in a quiet setting but close to everything.
The LOG HOME is 2200 square foot, and boasts five bedrooms (one's an office), two bath, two and a half car garage, large south and west-facing decks, and windows overlooking golf course and mountains.
Imagine waking up to a Teton sunrise with horses running in the neighboring pastures and the tranquility of a truly private mountain setting. Consider driving a short distance to either Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or Grand Targhee Ski areas for a day of glorious views and hiking. Then, after a full day in the mountains, either enjoying the fine restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of the area or just relaxing and nestling in to a comfortable night at home and a long jacuzzi tub or outdoor hot tub under the stars and finally retiring by the wood burning fire.
In the summer time, imagine waking up to the stillness of clean mountain air and the abundance of lush vegetation and teeming wildlife and trying to decide whether to go for a hike up Coal Creek to Mt Taylor, spend the day fly fishing on the south fork of the Snake River, mountain biking up Pole Canyon right from the house, or spending the day touring Teton village and taking the aerial tram to the top of the mountain for a tandem paragliding flight to the valley floor. Still others might be more interested in a rafting trip down the canyon of the Snake River, golfing across the street at Teton Springs Resort, horse back riding up Darby Canyon, or spending the day on a scenic drive through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
All this based from the comfort of a large but cozy log home sharing a spacious living room with rustic hickory hardwood floors, bar, baby grand piano, fireplace and outdoor hot tub. Our large kitchen and atrium connect to the living room and offer great space for family parties. Spacious rooms with hand-peeled authentic log interiors make for a private setting. Our yoga/massage room can be converted to an extra bedroom. Decors convert easily to a bedroom to suit your needs. Large master bedroom with walk-in closet offers a double shower head, jacuzzi tub, and a travertine tile bath. Extra bathroom is comfortable and nicely appointed with granite countertop and double sinks. Spacious laundry room and project area in garage as well as extra carport in the summertime.
Smartly situated at the base of Teton pass on the Idaho side. Just half a mile from groceries, a quaint breakfast coffeeshop, and banking in Victor. Ten minutes to top of Teton Pass for immediate back-country hiking access. Just 30 minutes from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort... 30 minutes to Grand Targhee Resort... 30 minutes to Jackson town square and shopping/nice restaurants.
National Forest trails, biking distance away. World class guided fly fishing and horseback tours also available. We are based at the gateway entrances to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and have the full scope of outdoor recreational activities and amenities to make your visit to the mountains memorable.
This home is ideal for those interested in coming to the mountains to get-away and be surrounded by nature and nestled near the forests of the Tetons. Mountain activities abound! Canoe and two mountain bikes also available with house. Vehicle may also be considered.

About the owners:
Ben and WillowStar Squires: We are in our 30's and have been living in the Tetons for over 14 years. Ben is from California and moved to Jackson Hole to fight fires on a helicopter crew. Falling in love with the mountains he decided to stay. He currently works in real estate and continues to work in the restaurant business at the Snake River Grill, one of Jackson's finest restaurants. WillowStar moved to Jackson Hole from NY and was a river guide on the Grand Canyon for years before settling into the tetons. She is a singer songwriter who performs often and works part time for Delta/ Skywest while running a spa on the side. We are both active outdoors people who love good food, good fun, and a closeness to family.

LOG HOME RENTAL- Summer Season rates are June 01- Oct 31st, starting at $1600/wk. for up to 6 people and $1800/wk. for 7-9 people.
Peak season weeks: July 4 weekend, Labor Day Wknd, $2000/wk.
$300 cleaning/damage deposit,
50% payment to reserve the dates + cleaning/damage deposit.
No Smoking, no pets.
