Property Information

One of a very few large homes in the area capable of handling any size family type group. Owned by a real train engineer, the home is decored with lots of railroadiana which is sure to thrill everyone especially the children in your group. The location is awesome! Just a 5 minute walk to Mt Cranmore ski resort and the adjacent large 'Cranmore family fitness center' with indoor pool, hot tub and indoor tennis etc.(Note: We have no affiliation with either business.) Just 1/2 mile (10 minute walk) to downtown, 10 minutes to Storyland, 20 minutes to Attitash and 25 to Wildcat. Plenty of swimming, hiking and biking nearby! This house goes on and on. It is unique with 2 kitchens, one was recently remodeled along with the dining area, large screened porch, pool table & Foosball, swingset, love swing. Sledding hill out back.

Winter:: This is a great spot because you can walk right over to Mount Cranmore with your skis or for that matter, ski right on over. The kids can slide down the small hill at the back of the house. Mount Attitash is just 15 minutes up the road. Also it is hardly a five minute walk to the giant health club with indoor pool, tennis etc. At the end of the day, you can walk right down to Horsefeathers restaurant and pub for refreshments and good food, not to mention a number of other restaurants and watering holes in proximity. Major food shopping is 5 minutes down the road at Hannaford's.

Summer, Autumn, Spring golfing.: For you golfers this is a great location as we have a pitch and putt course around our 1 3/4 acre property. The nearest golf course is barely 5 minutes away by the North Conway train station and is called Hale's location golf course. Their phone number is 603-356-2140. The Eagle mountain house is 15 minutes away in Glen and offers 9 holes of golf with stunning views of the White mountains. Their phone number is 603-383-9111. Also nearby in Jackson is the Wentworth golf club 18 hole course which is open to the public. their number is 603-383-9841. The creme de la creme golf course is the Mount Washington golf course with its stunning views of Mount Washington and the surrounding peaks. Located in Bretton woods about 35 minutes from the house, this golf course is awesome! their number is 603-278-8967. Needless to say there are other golf courses in the area so there are numerous choices.

Summer fun for the whole family:: Enjoy one of the largest yards in the area for family gatherings and reunions, big BBQs, and lots of room for the kids to play. The large, screened porch is a relaxing spot for chit-chat, reading and what-not.

The owner stopped by to stock necessary household items for us and was very nice.
The house is very close to all the great shopping in North Conway yet on a very quiet side street.
It has a oood size yard that we found perfect for playing croquet and badmitton. We had an elderly parent and aunt with us and the house was very easy for them to manuver around in, only a couple of small steps leading from the livingroom into the hall to get to the kitchen. They didnt have to deal with alot of stairs.
We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

We had a group of 8 who stayed at this house last weekend. House is very spacious, comfortable, very well stocked, very close to skiing (Mt. Cranmore) and close to the town of North Conway. The living room has a great fireplace and lots of seating area. If you have a small or a large group this is a great house to rent. You will have more than enough room for everyone. We also liked that it has 3 bathrooms. Also has 2 kitchens but we only used 1 of them.
