Sunrise Point is a beautifully remodeled (in 2005) 4 Bed / 3 Bath home that sits 20 feet above the water on a sand dune offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. A few steps out of the front door and you’re on a wonderful semi-private beach. The beach and the incredible clear waters invite you to experience surfing and snorkeling, or you can just sit in the sun and enjoy the perfect weather that the Bahamas has to offer.
Sunrise Point is a unique, spacious round shaped home with wonderful panoramic views from just about any point or through any window. The outside of the home boasts a wrap around deck on both levels. They invite you to enjoy the cool breezes and the sunrise each and every morning. You can also enjoy sunsets and the serenity of another terrific day in paradise.

Sunrise Point has a new fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, built-in microwave, coffee maker, ice maker, and gas stove with oven. Additionally, a gas grill is available on the lower level deck. Central air conditioning and backup generator ensure that your vacation will be comfortable at all times. There are separate thermostats for the upper and lower levels.
Sunrise Point has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Each of three downstairs bedrooms has separate keyed entrances and people can come and go without disturbing others. There is one king bed, two twins that can be made into a king, 2 bunk beds and a double bed upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has a separate bath with entrance to the main entertainment areas. Additionally, there is a sofa upstairs that can be made into a bed.

Sunrise Point is on a beautiful ocean beach, known to be one of the best surfing spots on Elbow Cay. It is just a short cart ride from Tahiti Beach, one of the best swimming beaches in the Bahamas - graced with the island's largest palm grove as well as a long, sandy shore. The water is so shallow you can wade out a hundred yards and still be only waist deep. You will be hard pressed to find a better swimming beach anywhere.
The harbour just below Sunrise Point is White Sound (a two minute walk). It is the perfect place to moor your boat. Sea Spray Resort and Marina is located here with boat rentals, supplies and a great restaurant and bar. You will definitely enjoy your favorite cocktail at the Cabana Bar late some evening. As you venture out onto the main road you will run into the Abaco Inn. The Abaco Inn is famous for its fine food and candlelight dinners. Dress is casual and dinner reservations are suggested.
Continue up the main road 2.5 miles and your next stop is Hopetown. Founded by the loyalists in 1785, it resembles New England with its clapboard, pastel homes and white picket fences. Reminiscent of a time gone by, you won't find any cars here, but you can leave your bikes or golf cart outside any storefront with no worries.
Hopetown is by far the most scenic settlement in the Bahamas. The harbour and its famous lighthouse, which must be toured, are stunningly beautiful. The quaint, vibrant-colored houses reflect simpler days. Motorized vehicles are restricted from the town, so the streets are quiet and a pleasure to walk. There are excellent restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, and interesting gift shops. The Wyannie Malone Historical Museum exhibits artifacts and stories of Hopetown's heritage
