Welcome to Bearly Irresistible, a Canaan Valley Vacation Rental. Find your cares float away as you stroll through the front door of Bearly Irresistible located in old Timberline at Canaan Valley, WV. You'll find yourself fantasizing about a week or weekend of ultimate relaxation as you peruse the homes open floor plan. Feel safe and secure in knowing that we are located within private 24 hour gated area of Old Timberline in the Timberline Four Seasons Ski Resort. We are within walking distance from the slopes of Timberline Ski Resort and within a minute drive. We are within 10 minutes of Canaan Valley Ski resort. We have everything that you could wish for in our custom-built cedar-sided mountain home. Our mountain home is a wonderful place to enjoy your winter, spring, summer or fall vacation, family get-together or ski vacation. Each room in our house is decorated for comfort. It's a perfect home for your whole family to settle in and enjoy with room for extended family and friends. While our home is spacious (over 5800+ sq ft) it offers privacy and coziness. We are located on a 5+ acre wooded lot. There are five bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The bedrooms are very comfortable with luxury linens and unique Amish and mountain furnishings. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Bearly Irresistible offers an open floor plan with extensive use of glass. The main floor offers a Great Room with a 20-foot knotty-pine cathedral ceiling. In this room one can sink comfortably into a large sectional sofa and enjoy the wood burning, floor to ceiling hand-cut stone fireplace. Also, on this floor is a master suite which has a king-sized bed, private bath with Jacuzzi tub and private deck. Curl up on the hanging swing and read your favorite book or sip your favorite libation and enjoy the fresh air and wildlife. Satellite TV in room. There is plenty of room for your luggage in this huge walk-in closet. On the same floor, there is a second bedroom with a queen-sized Montana pine bed with a micro-suede duvet and down comforter. This bedroom has a bathroom that doubles as the main floor "powder room". The main floor also boasts a mud room, laundry room, gourmet kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is gourmet and is equipped with everything that you need to cook your holiday dinners, (if you don't want to cook there are a few excellent restaurants nearby) simple or gourmet meals or that romantic dinner for two. The cabinets are oversized natural oak with a vast amount of storage space. All appliances are GE profile complete with a double oven with the top one being convection. There is plenty of room for the whole family to help with the cooking. The kitchen is very spacious. When your meal is complete, get everyone together and sit for dinner at our large hand-crafted Amish oak table that seats 10. The raised bar area seats four additional people comfortably. Don't want to cook indoors? We have provided a gas grill on the spacious deck. The laundry room contains a high capacity front loading washer and dryer (Whirlpool H3).
The upper level of our home offers 3 bedrooms, two baths and a loft. The master bed room suite offers a hand-crafted Amish oak sleigh bed, private balcony complete with bistro table and chairs, master bath with Jacuzzi tub, heated towel rack, desk and it's own TV with satellite hook-up. On the upper level there are two additional rooms with a king and queen sized beds that share a bathroom. Also, on that floor is a loft with couch, chair, TV and stereo.
The lower level houses the family/rec room. The rec room has a big screen TV with surround sound, DVD player and VCR. There is also a wet bar. On this level there is also a Brunswick pool table, foosball table, boccerball table and Texas Hold'em poker table. The lower level also has a full bathroom. A wood stove will keep your warm and cozy. This room has a full sized futon. The room is tastefully decorated with sports memorabilia. Off of the rec room is the hot tub room. This room houses a Therma Spa hot tub with over 80 jets waiting to message your tired body. In this room we have had some of our best conversations with family and friends. This room is decorated in a nautical theme.
A crib, toddler bed, high chair and booster seat are available. Please ask in advance. All conveniences are available on first floor for elderly.
A phone is located on all three levels of Bearly Irresisible. Please charge all long distance calls to a credit card or call collect. No charge for local calls. High speed internet is available at no extra charge. Your computer must be Ethernet ready.
If the house is not booked directly before or directly after your stay, the check-in and check-out times are flexible. Please call. This house delivers. Rental Rate Notes
There is a $750 seperate damage deposit. 9% sales/lodging tax. Weekends begin on Thursday or Friday during winter ski season. Other seasons can rent for Saturday and Sunday.
Policies
Home is furnished. Cleaning is included in rental. Keys will be given upon arrival and personal tour of home will be given with any questions about mechanics being answered at that time.
Deposits
33% of rental is due within 7 days of reservation or will be relisted as available. 67% is due 45 days prior to rental occupancy. A $750 seperate damage deposit is required.
Refunds
Refund will only be given if house can be re-rented for same dates.

My extended family and I had a wonderful time. I would gladly recommend this beautiful home for your next vacation. There was more then enough room for the ten of us. I was even able to find space to spend sometime alone, which is hard to do in most vacation homes. The decor of the home made you feel quite comfortable and relaxed. My family could not believe how wonderful the entire home was. My father-in-law is not easily impressed and I can say with confidence that he was thoroughly impressed. From the amazing views and wonderfully decorated bedrooms to the fully equiped kitchen and game room it would be hard to find any other place that could offer as much. We are already talking about going back next year!!!!

Randy and I were impressed with the house but I can truthfully say that I was awestruck with the beauty and comfort this house affords to so many guests at one time. We were never crowded and greatly enjoyed our stay because of the many amenities this house offered. Thank you for allowing us this time of togetherness in your beautiful and spacious home. We didn't get around to signing the guest book in the house, but I wanted to let you know that we all had a great time. The house couldn't have been better
for our group -- especially since the weather kept us inside much of the time. Just a beautiful place, very kid friendly, and lots of space and activities. (And, of course, I already knew I love the area). We look
forward to returning, next fall if not sooner. Is it possible to tentatively reserve the house for Columbus Day next year?

We truly enjoyed our week-end retreat here. This our 9th year for our annual retreat and this is by far the nicest place up here we have stayed at. We really enjoyed the Rec Room and the Juke Box. There were 18 of us from the Christian Assembly Church and everyone agreed this is definitely our first choice for next years retreat. By the way, we left you one of our Ladies' Cookbooks. This was our fund raiser to come here. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed your home. Again, we loved the house and were so sad to leave!
