INTRO:
Come experience the majesty of the Rockies, the quiet of a secluded forest and the clarity of a mountain lake from almost every window of this cozy 2300 sq ft mountain home on 1 1/2 acres.
We are in the heart of Evergreen just 2 miles from the lake house yet you feel like you're the first settlers in the area.
ACTIVITIES:
Evergreen is a prestigious mountain town 30 minutes from downtown Denver and 45 minutes from the slopes. Great restaurants and hangouts. We are 2 miles or 4 minutes from the Evergreen Lakehouse on the North side of the lake. If you're Not getting married or even if you are, you can attend the fly fishing school here or hike the many trails right in town.
This is Colorado! Land of one (spectacular) lake and 10,000 activities. Let us know what you are thinking and we'll steer you in the right direction or push you into something more exciting or different.

Summer (May - Sept) 3-6 day stays: $155/night for 2, $180/night for 4, $205/night for 6, $230/night for 8 and $255 for 10 or 11. Subtract $10/night for 7 or more days. Add $25/night for a two night visit. Subtract $25/night October thru April.
$300 reserves up to a week. Reservation deposit reverts to security deposit. Nightly rate times number of nights due 2 months prior to visiting.
Stay two weeks and earn a free night.
We block out the calendar when deposit is received. and we send out directions, current door codes, and a copy of the house manual when the rent is received.
Deposit returned within a week of departure!
We perfer checks and accept cash, wire, and Visa/MC/Disc. If booking with a CC, we need an email with the last 4 digits, expiration and billing address and call with the first 12 digits.
Refunds: 100% refund up to 2 months prior to visiting. 50% refund if made within one month. Full refund for days that are rebooked. Remember, we cant overbook like hotels. We can provide a rental agreement for your travel insurance.
Visits over Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving and July 4 are five night minimum and add $50/night holiday fee.

The master bedroom is surrounded by the views. It has a queen bed, master bath and a cute room for an infant.
The main floor has two large bedrooms with a shared bath between. Both have plush queen beds and a sofa.
The main level also has the openliving / dining / kitchen area with windows everywhere. We have a gas log fireplace for those special romantic nights.
The Kitchen is beautifully with a seamless sink and Corian counters an a breakfast bar for those quick meals.
The dining has room for six and a deck just out from there. Just outside the kitchen is the patio where the private hot tub, the perfect Colorado climate, the whispering pines and the breathtaking views will grab you and not let you come back in.
The lower level has a bedroom with with a single be under a full bed designed for either kids or overflow sleeping quarters. There's also a convenient 3/4 bath there.
We are just 3 miles from the Whispering Pines Spa.

Enjoy easy access to shopping/nightlife in Denver; skiing/boarding in Loveland; casinos in Central City; a relaxing day or night exploring or town or other neighboring mountain towns or just on th patio and enjoy the elk, or a book by the stove, or a soak in the ozone hot tub. Our guestขฎฏs guide in the entryway has the details for most of the area attractions and a printout with directions.
Skiing/Boarding: Loveland, Winter Park, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek are Open!

BTW, 4WD are always recommended for Colorado winters but not a necessity. We have front wheel drive but at times wish we had 4WD - they just give you more options. We recommend renting 4WD for November thru March stays.
For our allergenic guests, no inside pets or smoking inside. Please be careful when smoking outside. We provide a large dog pen and a dog run and they may also stay in the garage.
Thanks to our visitors that leave the home like they found it. To keep our cleaning costs reasonable, wash all full loads of laundry esp. the last morning.
