Enjoy panoramic views of lovely Lake Missaukee from this 3 bedroom/2 bath, four season, family luxury vacation home. Our home is newly remodeled and is considered the nicest rental property on the lake. Families enjoy new dock with a private platform at the end. The lake is clear with shallow waters and a sandy bottom that makes this an ideal summer vacation spot for families with young children. The beach is now raked every single week. We have replaced all of the furniture this year. The new four person hot tub on the lower level along with a poster bed makes this home a favorite of couples in Fall and Winter. A new King Swedish Tempurpedic bed eliminates pressure points allowing for a restful night's sleep. A two-block stroll brings you to restaurants and ice cream shops. A county park with playground equipment is a short walk down the beach. Snowmobile trails lead from the cottage up to the Straits of Mackinaw, in Winter. Skiing, golf, and shopping trips are less than an hour's drive.

This fine 4 season home has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, washer and dryer, one king bed, one queen bed, two twin beds, and a pull-out double sleeper sofa and a single sleeper sofa as well. There are 3 cable televisions, two VCRs/DVDs, a fax machine, a printer and new CD/cassette/radio/MP3 stereo system along with over 100 CDs of your favorite artists on MP3 format. A huge gas grill is located on the brand new vinyl deck that is cool to the touch even on hot summer days. The deck has gates at the top and the bottom for safety There is a four-person hot tub complete with supplies, a basketball court, and a private dock with a platform at the end for privacy and sunbathing. We supply all bedding except for towels.
We have added air conditioning and a brand new deck with spectacular views of Lake Missaukee. We also provide a Hi-Chair for infants and a baby bed.
There are literally dozens of beach items including umbrellas, floating chairs, sand toys and much more.

Lake Missaukee is great for swimming, boating, and fishing. Lake City has a nice 18 hole public golf course and driving range. Public tennis courts are about three blocks from the home. Shanty Creek provides top rated golf and skiing, with less than an hour's drive. An hour's drive to Traverse City provides excellent shopping and cultural activities.
Area: Lake Missaukee is one of the Largest and most beautiful sandy bottom lakes in Michigan with over 2000 acres of water and fun.
