Sailing and surfing
The east shore of Achensee lake is a paradise for surfers.
Several surf and yacht schools offer sailing and surfing instructions.
Inline skating - let´s roll!
The asphalt road at the lake is an inline skating paradise.
Skates can be rented at the Achensee Sports Shop, at the Busslehner Sports Shop in Achenkirch, at WW-Sports in Maurach and at Sports Wöll in Pertisau.
Angling and fishing
20 fishing licenses are reserved for our guests.
According to Tyrolean law fishing licenses can only be handed out to trained, certified fishers with licenses from their home country.
Achensee Golf and Country Club
The golf and country club Achensee was founded in 1934 and is Tirol´s oldest golf club. It was completely rebuilt in 1995 (SSS 70, Par 70) and now blends in perfectly with the Karwendel nature reserve.
Alpengolf Achenkirch
A demanding and challenging 9-hole course amidst the stunning Alpine scenery of Tirol.
On horseback...
Fans of equestrian activities will find an excellent horseback riding area at their disposal.
We offer indoor and outdoor riding instructions, guided horse trekkings and - as a special attraction - the white Lippizan horses of Achenkirch.

The Achensee holiday region is proud to be the "First Vitality Region in Tirol". No matter if you are into hiking, jogging or cross-country skiing – the Achensee region offers several vitality routes.

The region features a 150-km cross-country trail system leading along Lake Achensee and into the valleys of the Karwendel and Rofan mountain ranges.
