E KOMO MAI! (Welcome) to HONUHALE3 (turtle house), our beautiful two acre lush tropical paradise,located just outside of Hilo.
* 15 min. from airport
* 25 min. to Volcano National Park
* 10 min. to Old Pahoa Village
* 5 min. to Keaau Village.
Our three story home has an artistic flare, with three lanai's, vaulted ceilings, paintings and sculptures throughout house and grounds. The view from every window is breathtaking.
The two lower level apartments are spacious and artsy with livingroom, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Both have seperate entrances and a lanai. The upper 3 bedroom, 2 bath House feels like being in a tree house, looking out over coconut palms, guava, mango, avocado, papaya and more.
Go to sleep at HONUHALE3, with frogs chirping and stars so brite you could almost touch them.
Wake up to birds singing and a tasty complimentry local fruit and Kona coffee/tea. Pamper yourself, bath in our collected rainwater and book a massage. Smoke free! Sorry no Pets!
Visit our two great local farmers markets on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, where you can get fresh produce, local hand-crafted items, yummy ethnic foods and experience the local flavor.
We live next door and can tell you about all the local sites and many out of the way places to go and see. We can accomadate a small retreat up to 16 people.
