A lovely well kept villettta (sort of villa) by Como Lake, on the side of Lecco. The accommodation (on 2 levels + meeting area, 135m2) is equipped with a swimming pool, which is sometimes used by the owner (his house being situated on the opposite side), a cosy veranda and communal enclosed garden with electric lockable fence. Situated in the beautiful town of Lierna, this house is ideal for an amusing holiday along the Como Lake (the beach "La Riva Bianca" is located 100 m away, shops and restaurants at 500m). In the surroundings you can visit Varenna and the coast of the lake (via the road s.p.72), The "Chiesa dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro" (castle, in Lierna), the "Isola Comacina" (with the "Sagra di S. Giovanni, a traditional town festival), and many other interesting places. Please note that the house is close to a railroad.
On request we can arrange a place for your boat at the local harbour. The location is ideal even for winter sports (the fashionable and exclusive St. Moritz being situated within 1hr drive) and you can easily travel to Milan by train, where you can do your shopping without being bothered about traffic and car parking: in Lierna there is a small and easy to reach train station (info, prices and times on: www.trenitalia.com). The public boat transport can quickly take you to Bellagio right on the other side of the lake (info, prices and times of the boat line on: www.navigazionelaghi.it).
Not far from the house there is a restaurant called "Il Crotto" where local specialties are still being prepared according to the old recipes (Handmade pasta, desserts etc.): we strongly recommend it!
Famous actors like George Clooney often stay along the Como Lake. He bought 2 villas there; therefore take the chance to come across such famous celebrities in restaurants or other locations.

A house with a swimming pool, "Villa Valentina" is in a green area of rubinie, typical trees of Lake Como. From the courtyard and the rooms you can enjoy a lovely view of the lake. The solarium and the swimming pool (5 m. X 10 m.) are to be shared with another detached house, where the owner of the villa lives. This house is in the middle of a 600m2 wide fenced park . The house has 2 kitchens and 2 or 3 families can comfortably live in it for a maximum of 8/10 people. It is in the centre of a town, a few yards away from the Railway and 100 meters from the lovely white beach of Lierna. Restaurants, bar, newsagent, pizzeria and shops at 150 meters. The courtyard is furnished with table, chairs and chaise lounges. Double car garage plus another parking stall for one car available.
Villa Valentina is a 2-floor detached house with basement. The ground floor has a living room, a dining room with double couch, Tv-Sat. Kitchen with oven, 4 burners, vent and dishwasher. Water closet with sink . 1st floor double bedroom with wardrobe and desk, bedroom with bunk-beds and a third bed can be pulled out. Bathroom with bath and WC. Basement with windows wide tavern with 2 double divan beds with fireplace, kitchen with dishwasher 5 burners and vent. Bedroom with king size bed and one high bed (single). Bathroom with shower and WC. . Bed sheets included. Gas and Electricity to be paid as you use. Swimming poll open from 01-06 to 01-10.
