Welcome to Hamilton House; a privately owned villa which is available for rent throughout the year. This is a wonderful vacation or holiday rental property situated on the private and exclusive Windermere Island, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Hamilton House is the perfect holiday home for a family holiday or group of friends. With the Atlantic Ocean and an unspoiled 3 mile beach on your doorstep this is the perfect place to unwind. The Hamilton family have been coming to Windermere Island for the past 25 years for peace, quiet, relaxation and to chill out. One of the very special qualities of Eleuthera is the friendly locals. This is one of the few places where you can have a holiday in simple, elegant and comfortable surroundings and truly relax. From the patio of Hamilton House you can enjoy unblocked views of the Atlantic sea. At low tide 100 metres from the shore you can see a coral reef. This luxury holiday home has four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping a total of 7 people. There are two private patios off the bedrooms facing toward the Atlantic sea. The large 40ft long living area is an ideal space for family gatherings and meals making it the ideal villa to rent in the Bahamas. You can walk each morning along the most beautiful 3-mile beach in the Bahamas - without seeing another soul. Good sport fishing such as bone fishing as well as reef fishing can be had on the Atlantic side or on the Caribbean side at West Beach 5 minutes drive. Windermere Island is a 5-mile long island adjoining Eleuthera, by a bridge. As well as being just a few yards from the stunning Atlantic beach, a second more secluded beach is nearby, known as West Beach with warm shallow waters. West Beach is ideal for small children, snorkelling and beach combing. This is a place perfect for those wishing to "get away from it all". The peace and quiet of your own desert island, yet with all the amenities of "civilisation" just around the corner is the "The Club At Windermere" (2 minutes walk from the house) provides a bar and restaurant open November to May, a pool and tennis courts all year round. Those staying at Hamilton House have access to the club. For those needing the services of a cook or baby sitter, or grocery shopping done prior to their arrival, these can be arranged through the manager.
