If you've never seen the river otters dancing on the docks in the middle of the night, you're missing a spectacular event. Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, Canadian Geese and many native & migrating birds & ducks seen daily. Keep an eye out for elk in the area and seals & fish in the water.
Walk to the town of Nehalem to and visit the shops and eat out, there are several antique shops to explore.

The area is ideal for outdoor activities including kayaking, golfing, hiking, wind surfing, horse trail riding, trail bike riding, birding, and wildlife watching.
