Property Information

Bear Creek Hideaway is a guest home 5.7 miles from Yellowstone National Park in Jardine, ideal for vacations, reunions, or corporate retreats. We provide a fully-furnished home with six spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a modern kitchen with a reverse osmosis water system, a game room, and all the comforts of home. The dining room table will seat 8 while the table in the eating area of the kitchen will seat another 8-10. If you prefer to eat on the screened deck, the table there will seat another 6.

Bear Creek Hideaway is close to all the wonders of Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area yet conveniently located near Gardiner's grocery store, post office, gift shops, and restaurants. The Hideaway is approximately 80 miles or 90 minutes from the Bozeman Airport and 60 miles or about 75 minutes south of Livingston. For the experienced pilot, there is a small 3400 ft airstrip running between the Yellowstone River and Hwy 89 just outside of Gardiner that will handle small private aircraft.

The property is 4.96 acres surrounded by forests and trails leading into Yellowstone National Park and the Absoroka/Beartooth Wilderness area. It is very quiet and private, up in the tall timber, with a territorial view of the mountains in our valley. Short hikes from our home give splendid views of Electric Peak or one can hike the wilderness trails to high mountain lakes. Many of these lakes are full of trout just waiting to take your fly or lure. Yellowstone is also a tremendous cross country skiing destination.

Being so close to National Forest and the Absoroka/Beartooth Wilderness, the Bear Creek Hideaway makes an ideal base of operations for a group of hikers or hunters who come here together to hunt deer, elk, or bear. There are also special seasons for Mountain Lion, Mountain Goat, Bison, Moose, and Bighorn Sheep.
