Located just 15 minutes from downtown San Francisco, 5 minutes
north of the Golden Gate Bridge off Highway 101, in charming
Sausalito.
Located within a short walking distance to miles of hiking trails,
bike paths through a local bird preserve, kayaking on Richardson
Bay, or a short walk to great restaurants and shopping.
Spacious, luxurious, architect designed redwood and glass
houseboat with over 3,000 square feet of living space on three
floors, hot tub off the master bedroom, a stunning three floor
interior atrium with tropical plants. In addition there is a roof
garden with a view. Two bicycles and two kayaks included. Historic
(Pavoratti slept here!), romantic and fun.
Mid-level:
You enter on the mid level with a good size entry area, and walk
around a curved wall to a spacious open floor plan living room and
formal dining area with quality furniture and art throughout.
There is a large window seat with oversize cushions that can
double as a twin bed. The state of the art kitchen has custom
French marble counters, professional stove, refringerator/freezer,
dishwasher and all small appliances. A serene Japanese guest
bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub complete this floor.
Textiles and art abound as owners are a former diplomat and a
travel executive with a background in anthropology.
Lower level:
You walk down the open staircase to a private suite of rooms
which include a beautiful Asian room with a pull out queen size
bed. The Asian room sliding shoji screen doors from Japan open
onto a comfortable sitting room which opens upwards into the 3
story atrium with tropical plants, orchids and palms. There is also a
half bath, kitchenette, washer and dryer on this floor.
Top floor:
This floor has a very large, romantic master bedroom with high
ceilings, a four poster king size bed, a gas fireplace with rock
hearth, and two comfortable reading areas. Off the master
bedroom is a private balcony with a hot tub. On this floor there is
a large master bathroom. You will also find a workout area with a
6ft x 8 ft wall mirror, rowing machine, weights and yoga props.
Roof Garden Deck: A wooden slanted ships ladder takes you from
the top floor to the roof garden deck with panoramic views over
the yacht harbor, Richardson Bay and Mt. Tamalpais. A special
place to enjoy California living ...having a meal or watching the
sunset. Furnished with redwood table, chairs, umbrellas, chaise,
gas barbeque and beautiful plants watered by a timer.
