Listen to the waves crash in my tastefully appointed apartment with tiled lanai overlooking lawn, palms, and peek-a-boo ocean view.Located on the 2nd floor for added privacy. Right next to Mama's Fish House and picturesque beach. Sleep in comfort in crisp, 500 thread count 100% cotton sateen sheets. Working & playing? No problem with DSL hi-speed internet in unit.
Other beaches within walking distance are Kuau Cove & Hookipa, Paia Beach is 1 mile, Baldwin Beach, Kanaha Beach Park & Sprecklesville Beach are just a tad farther for a 5 minute drive. Makena Beach is about 1/2 hour drive & Lahaina is about an hour. Ginger's Spot is a great starting point on the road to Hana for one of the most scenic coastal tropical drives in the world through lush rainforest & waterfalls. It is a great spot!

08/29/07 I was delighted with the lovely condo and convenient location, the best kite suring is only 6 miles, 1 mile to historic Pa'ia, next door to landmark Mama's Fish House then dirve 1/2 mile to a local's beach for surfing, snorkeling, swimming and the winery is 20 min. up the mountain. I'll be back in Maui at Ginger's Spot!

04/03/07 Okay, here's the deal. If you want a high luxury place that caters to the tourist crowd, then you'll have no trouble finding that on Maui (just be prepared to pay A LOT of $$). However, if you're just looking for a clean, comfortable "home base" that has everything you'll need, then by all means check out Ginger's Spot! Ginger is extremely professional and thoughtful, and will do everything she can to ensure that your Maui vacation is carefree. Just drop off your bags and you'll be ready to hit the beach, stroll through Paia Town, visit Upcountry, or make the short drive to Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina, etc. When you return, you can prepare dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, and dine on the comfortable lanai. All the benefits of an expensive Maui vacation, for a fraction of what others are paying!

11/27/06 I had a wonderful stay at Ginger's. The sound of the palm trees in the breeze reminded me I was in lovely Maui! Location is great access to all over Maui, from Hana to the crater to the beaches on the other side. Pa'ia is a wonderful town - not touristy, but with great little shops and fabulous food. Ginger's is also right next to Mama's Fish House, a must go-to place for drinks and dinner.
