Kakela Kai is a newly remodled, well-maintained, nicely furnished four bedroom, three bath contemporary home of appx. 2,200 sq. ft. located in a security-gated neighborhood near the center of Kailua Beach. High ceilings and sliding glass doors in the main living areas provide a feeling of spaciousness and enhance the wonderful ocean views from the living, dining, kitchen areas and from the master bedroom. Other features include central air-conditioning island-style tropcial rattan furniture, cool tile and wood floors, granite counter and floors in kithcen with all stainless steel applicances and den. Families will also enjoy a fenced-in yard for children and an oceanfront lanai. The living area has cable TV, a DVD player and a stereo with CD/cassette player.
Located just 15 miles from the Honolulu Airport and Waikiki on the Windward coast of Oahu, Kailua Beach is a serene residential area that has no hotels or vacation rental condos, and its three miles of reef-protected beach consistently ranks among the very best in the USA. Windward Oahu features several golf courses, tennis facilities, great water sports activities, a variety of restaurants, and the grocery stores, theaters, shopping mall and consumer services typical of most suburban areas.

RATES INCLUDE: Occupancy by a maximum of 8+ persons (including infants and children), airport greeting, guide to the house and check-in service at the property. The property is fully-equipped with linens, dishes, flatware, cookware, utensils and serving dishes and is stocked with an initial supply of soaps, detergents, cleansers and paper products. Rates are subject to change without prior notice before a rental confirmation is issued.
NOT INCLUDED: Hawaii taxes, lei greeting, airport transfers, baggage handling, food or beverages, maid service, personal laundry service, departure cleaning fee, security deposit or any other items or services not specifically listed in the "Rates Include" section above.
SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT: The security/damage deposit is typically refunded 45 - 60 days after guest departure.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: Reservation deposit is 50% of total charges. Deposit is due within 7 days of placing a reservation. Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date (90 days prior for Xmas/New Year reservations).
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Deposits and final payments are generally non-refundable unless the property rented is damaged or otherwise rendered unfit for habitation and no acceptable substitute can be found. Pro-rata refunds, less a 15% - 20% fee, may sometimes be made if a reservation is cancelled and the property can be re-booked at an equivalent rate and length of stay but the owner, property manager or booking agent is under no obligation assure or effect any such refund and the specific terms of the rental agreement signed shall apply. The purchase of trip cancellation/trip interruption insurance is strongly recommended.
HOUSE RULES: A signed Rental Agreement (see sample copy in "Document Samples" on this website) and/or an acknowledged copy of the most recently dated revision of this Property Description document are required for all rentals. No guarantees, warranties or assurances are expressed or implied regarding the suitability or safety of ocean swimming. The pool and/or spa area of the property is not enclosed by a separate child-proof fence and cannot be secured to assure child safety. Ocean swimming and/or use of pool and/or spa facilities is at occupants' own risk. Pets are not allowed onto the property or into the house/villa. Weddings, receptions or parties that involve non-occupant guests are not permitted (any exception will require specific written approval and may involve additional restrictions, rules, fees and proof of occupant-provided insurance coverage). Additional advisements, house rules, disclosures or disclaimers may be incorporated into individual rental agreements.
The provisions for limits of liability for errors or omissions of facts and/or disclosures; for claims of inconvenience, personal injury and/or financial loss or refunds; and/or for settlements of disputes or claims are contained in our posted terms, conditions and disclosures and/or in the rental agreements that may be required to be signed for individual bookings.
