Llanymynech is an attractive village half in England and half in Wales, with beautiful views over Llanymynech Rock. The village boasts three great pubs, two in England and one in Wales. In addition there are Indian and Chinese takeaways within walking distance. Golfers will be amazed at the views from the Llanymynech golf course where a young Ian Woosnam learnt his game. Walkers will find this an ideal centre with Offa's Dyke running close by.
For the more adventurous a fantastic location nearby is the Activity Centre in Llangollen (15 miles) with Mountain Climbing and White Water Rafting amongst the many activities on offer.

"We enjoyed our stay at Apple Tree Cottage and found it comfortable and relaxing.
The Shropshire area is very interesting and is not over run with tourists which made our stay more enjoyable.
We will definately visit again.
