Sunrise Ridge Retreat in Sonoma County is a private home, guest house secluded in a seven acre estate setting in Sonoma County Wine Country. Located on the end of small country lane it offers complete privacy and has sweeping views of vineyards, redwood forests and Mt. St. Helena. Sunrise Ridge Retreat is located in the coastal hills a few miles from the hamlet of Occidental just over sixty miles north of San Francisco. It is centrally located minutes from the spectacular Sonoma Coast, the Russian River recreational area and the world renowned Osmosis Spa. Just 10 miles west of Santa Rosa the area offers redwood forests, the spectacular Sonoma Coast and world class restaurants all in the heart of Sonoma wine country.
Come stay in our Guest House at Sunrise Ridge Retreat, a newly built spacious one bedroom one bath cottage. The cottage was built of nontoxic and sustainable materials and is ideally suited for chemically sensitive individuals. This vacation cottage is located in the orchard of this secluded, seven acre estate with a panoramic view of west Sonoma County. Watch the sun rise over Mt. St. Helen from the great room or the window seat in the bedroom. Sip a glass of wine on the private terrace while watching the reflected light of sunset on the rolling hills dotted with vineyards and redwoods. Soak in the hot tub on the terrace after a day of hiking or picnicking on the spectacular Sonoma Coast.
The retreat is a turn-key accommodation with a queen size bed and queen sleeper sofa. Your stay includes locally made bread, jam, coffee and tea and complimentary local wine. Pick organic vegetables in the garden and apples, black berries and figs in season. We can arrange a massage in the cottage or on the terrace, a train ride and dinner while you cruise through wine country or a private tour of the neighboring vineyards. Of course you can just relax and read a book or hike or bike on local trails in this beautiful country setting. ~ full kitchen ~ in a one level newly built cottage

Hard to believe it took us over a year to get back here. The magic remains. The smell of rosemary on the walk, the full moon over the hot tub, quiet dinners, lazy afternoons reading, long walks, and lots of time to select it be grateful. We look forward to our next visit……….. Sooner, and later.

What a wonderful place to stay. The setup is just perfect for us! We just launched the awesome kitchen, plus a few! And the stargazing from the hot tub was priceless. An amazing getaway that we much appreciated. They've done an amazing job on the landscaping, and it will be beautiful for years to come.
