Vacation Rental Description

Hale Nalu is located on the sunny Westside of Kaua'i. Our beach cottage is directly across one of Kekaha's beaches that give you a clear view of the island of Ni'ihau and Ka'ula Rock. Kekaha known as "Hawaii of Old", with a lazy pace, friendly people, beautiful beaches, and year round sunshine. Kekaha is also known for it's agriculture, hawaiian language and culture that originates from the sacred island of Ni'ihau. It is a very beautiful historic place to visit on Kaua'i.

The Hale Nalu propertie is located just off the main highway that leads to world famous Polihale Beach. The beach cottage is a two minute walk to the beach, and a five minute drive to the beginning of a 12 mile long sand beach, the longest continuous beach in Hawaii.

This beach offers surfing, bodysurfing, swimming, and secluded sunbathing areas perfect for long walks, beach barbecue, and wonderfully romantic sunset views.

If you tire of the beach, Waimea Town is three miles away where there are quaint little stores and shops, restaurants, and a newly refurbished Theater that shows one show each night.

After you have seen Waimea, you can start the drive up the mountain to view Waimea Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

Once you reach Kokee you can visit the museum, have lunch at the Kokee Lodge, or continue your drive to the Kalalau lookout where you can look down the spectacular Kalalau Valley to the remote Napali Coast.
