Our beautiful garden apartment is located in Park Slope, just blocks away from world famous Prospect Park and within walking distance of Brooklyn Art Museum and Botanical Gardens and the Prospect Park Zoo. Brooklyn is home to many festivals and cultural events throughout the year. Easy access to subways will put you in the heart of Manhattan in 20 minutes time. You can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge for views of the Statue of Liberty, our beautiful skyline and a visit to the South Street Seaport. This safe and beautiful neighborhood is filled with great restaurants and shopping. The bedroom opens on to brick patio which is furnished with glass and wrought iron table/chairs and barbecue grill. Kitchen is fully equipped and large dining area looks out onto private back yard. Living room has futon that sleeps two, cable TV and DVD player. Wireless hi-speed internet service throughout.

Brooklyn is a wonderful destination, as well as a great take off point for other close-by activities and attractions. Beautiful, historic Prospect Park is home to summer concerts, the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and Zoo. Festivals and street fairs abound. Take a world tour by visiting Brooklyn and Manhattan ethnic neighborhoods. Take a trip on the Staten Island Ferry. There is a Children's Museum in every borough. Coney Island and the Brooklyn Aquarium are close-by and you can make a day trip to one of Long Island's beautiful beaches. Shop locally in Park Slope or go to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, or Cobble Hill. You can find anything you want in Manhattan. Art is everywhere! Visit museums, galleries, or find it on the streets. There's theater, dance, music. Go antiquing, or visit our wonderful flea markets. In the wintertime, see the tree and ice-skate in Rockefeller Center; in the summer walk through Central Park or take a paddle boat in Prospect Park.
