Property Information
This magnificent home is designed for the perfect beach, boating and golf vacation. Located in the luxury gated community of Ocean Sound Village, the beach is at your doorstep. A public boat ramp is less than ˝ mile away, and North Carolina’s only 4 star golf course, the North Shore Golf Club, is only 2 miles away.
Visitors to this home are greeted by a beautifully landscaped yard, as the house is set back from the road, allowing for privacy and plenty of room for parking. Entrance to the home is accessible by stairs or by using the convenient home elevator.
Reverse-style living offers spectacular views from the top floor, which includes a living room with sliding glass doors to the deck and a fire place with gas logs (to be used in the cooler seasons only), a dining room with ocean and sound views, a fully equipped kitchen, a magnificent oversized master bedroom and a large guest bedroom.
The lower living level includes a TV/video game room, laundry room and 4 additional bedrooms (one with a handicapped accessible bathroom with shower), all of which overlook the ocean or the sound.
Other amenities in the home include 7 TVs, VCR, 2 DVD players, wireless high speed internet access, and surround sound stereo. The entire house is furnished in tastefully bright and cheerful seashore décor.
The many decks around the house, a gas grill, hot tub, beach chairs, beach toys, 2 enclosed outdoor showers and a convenient walkway to the beach offer visitors a wonderful way to enjoy life on the ocean. With its handicap accessibility, this home is a delightful vacation spot for families of all ages.
A private heated pool with a ramp for wheelchair access from garage level to pool enclosure has been added for the 2009 summer season!
Restrictive covenants in Ocean Sound Village provide for no parking allowed anywhere other than garages and driveways. Vehicles are subject to towing at owner's expense. Please consider this when making reservations or travel arrangements.

The island is home to graceful blue herons, snowy egrets, and brown pelicans. The North Carolina cost is also a popular nesting area for the loggerhead sea turtle from May until late June. When they hatch at night, hundreds of baby sea turtles can be seen running towards the surf from July until October.
