Located at North Andros on the Bay of Pleasant Harbor, Andros is the largest Island in the Bahamas and know for The World Famous'Joulter Cay's' The shallow fishing flats which are home to schools of Bonefish, Permit and Tarpon. It's the best fishing in the World, miles of Flats & beautiful crystal clear waters.We are only 10 min away by boat. Here in front of Knoll's Landing it's perfect for Snorkeling, all kinds of Sport-Fishing just 1 mile off shore is the Tongue of the Ocean and wonderful Beachcombing. We have it all to share with you...
Diane Knoll has been in the Caribbean for 35 years and Andros is the best you can find when it comes to all water sports and peace of mind. She has been living on Andros for 18 years & found this beautiful spot and calls it home. She wants to share her Paradise with you. She will treat you to a fabulously secluded hideaway.
Rodney Miller is our Head Fishing Guide known as 'Andros Angler' for Bonefish, Tarpon & Permit off his 17' Siver King Flats Boat. He also is a Diver & Captian of a 28' Sport Fishing & Dive Boat called 'Early Dawn' here in front of Knoll's Landing. He can also take you out on a 15' Boston Whaler for some outstanding snorkeling on the Reefs.
We can Provides Three (3)different Accommodations here at Knoll's Landing.
For 4 or 5 persons:
Waterfront 'Cottage' has two bed rooms, fully equipped Kitchen, large setting/dinning area with bay window over looking the Conch Shell path to the Beach and Dock. Large screened in porch. Sat. TV/VCR. One full size bed & three Singles. Great for a Family or Fishing Group.
For 2 or 3 persons:
Waterfront 'UPPER DECK' Apartment = Has a large deck giving you a spectacular view thru the Tall Coconut Trees overlooking the beautiful waters of the bay and white sand beach. Queen Size Bed, Day Bed, Fully equipped Kitchen, Bath, and Sitting/Dining Area, Radio/ CD player. Very lovely Apartment.
For 2 persons:
Waterfront 'Gazebo' Efficency Apartment - Beautiful large Unit with King Size Bed (can be made into two Singles), sitting area with view of garden & Bay. Large Bath with sliding doors onto Patio. No Kitchen facility, but has a small frig, micowave, coffee maker, toaster, TV / DVD player. It's a real beauty accommodation.
***For you DEVOTED ANGLER*** We are only minutes away from 'Bonefish World' & The Famous 'Joulter Cays' by boat. Here is where you will find miles of Flats with Bonefish, Permit & Tarpon every where. The vastness of the Flats is unbelievable. Capt Miller will take you there. We have a body of water down our back road known as the "Still Waters" for Mangrove Snapper.
It's alway fun to fish off our dock in the evening and hook into a Mutton Snapper or two.
It's also a great spot for you Non-Fisherman with lots to see and do with all it's beauty. We offer snorkeling, walking miles of the empty beaches down to' Money Point' for Sand Dollars, Shelling, Take stroll down our back road for Bird Watching & see the Off Sprays nesting.
There are days when the dolphins come into swim in our Bay & feed here in our shallow waters. Go out Kayaking in our beautiful Pleasent Harbour Bay. Its great favorite pastimes for our Guest. There is no better spot or view on Andros with our very private accommodations that are right on the beach.

Activities: Bonefishing, fly fishing, learning how to tie a Fly, Sport fishing, spear fishing, snorkeling, swimming, biking, kayaking, shelling, bird watching and walking miles of white sandy beach. There are tours available upon request for hire to visit some of our local attractions like the Blue Holes (fresh water swimming) or Red Bays (known for their straw basket weaving). The small local restaurants are charming, a treat to visit and they serve very good Bahamian food.
Guest Book: We hope you have gotten a feeling for our beautiful Getaway. We believe vacationing at 'Knoll's Landing' here on Andros Island is one of the best kept secrets of all times, and hope that you will feel the same. Here on Andros Island, the beaches are empty, and the 3rd longest barrier reef in the world stretches over the 120-mile length of the island. At low tide the exposed tips of it's elkhorn coral form a live barrier between the shallow patch reef area inside, and the deeper magnificent coral formations and walls on the seaward side. Over 30 miles west on the swampy far side of Andros, myriad migrating birds, and large Andros Rock iguana rarely, if ever, see humans. Yet these reefs and the island called the 'Sleeping Giant' are truly one of those 'undiscovered' places. You may call it your greatest discovery. Red Bays is where you will find Hand Made Baskets. The communities here are rarely more than a few hundred in size and are spread over the largest land mass in the Bahamas.

Rodney Miller "Andros Angler" will take you to some of his Special spots for Fly fishing the Flats where are so many Bonefish, you will not believe it. He can also take you Snorkeling to some wonderful spots. Rodney lives on the property to serve your every Water Sports needs. He was born on Andros & knows these waters better than anyone. He holds a Commercial Diver & Fishing Leicene. He is truly a man of the sea.

Great Fishing, snorkaling, walking miles of white sand beach & relaxing on a louge Chair under the tall Coconut Palms in cool breeze. Our guests often tell us, When we're not on Andros our thoughts and hearts are!
