Only about an hour from South Florida by air, Eleuthera is one of most beautiful, popular Family Islands of the Bahamas. The island is some 110 miles long and well known for its spectacular beaches, great surfing, snorkling and fishing. Bethel's Breezy View is located in Rainbow Bay, a subdivision near the middle of the island. The rentals are high on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The large decks offers breathtaking views of the Altlantic Ocean directly below the houses and the Caribbean Sea approx. 1 mile to the West. We offer miles of glistening pink and white beaches, distinctive, hilly topography reaching elevations of 100 feet above sea level and features cliff sprinkled shores and secluded beaches.
There are 3 beaches directly below the houses which offer excellent swimming and snorkling and there are beaches on the Caribbean side within walking distance. There are numerous "carryouts" and BBQ's in the area as well as Big Rock General Store and Rainbow Inn bar/restaurant.
The one bedroom/bathroom is a one room efficiency unit with a queen size bed, small refrigerator and 2 burner electric stove top. The larger units offer a full kitchen, dining room and living room in addition to the bedrooms and baths.
A reservation deposit is required and we do accept VISA/Mastercard.
The closest airport is Governors Harbour Airport which has service from Ft Lauderdale/Miami via US Air, Continental, Twin Air, Lynx and Bahamas Air.

We also have rental cars and vans available for $50/day and recommend that you rent a vehicle as there is no public transportation on the island other than taxi. VISA/Mastercard accepted.
