All the seaside resorts of the Adriatic and Ionian shores are within easy reach in a few minutes’drive. Not far from there, you can immerse yourself in the history of the ancient Messapian people, of the ‘Grecia Salentina’, of the Roman culture, or admire the architecture of the castles where the Aragon dynasty and Charles V dwelt. Don’t fail to visit the numerous fortified farms and watch towers erected as a defence against the Turks. The beaches and cliffs of a stupendous shore, the wildlife areas and parks offer a delightful setting to the estate. Just a stone’s throw away you will find a typical country village with a high concentration of some of the best typical restaurants of the region and, next to Villa Diana, a riding club for an unforgettable ride. The surrounding roads are fitted with cycle tracks (we provide the bicyles). Golf fans will find a 18-hole golf course at a ten minutes’ drive.
