Villa Gummerson is a privately owned home and is available for rent to those who truly love and respect nature's delicate balance.
The home features a magnificent open entryway with two skylight domes and a winding staircase leading to the inner balcony overlooking the exquisite first floor.
There are three master bedrooms with king-sized beds and an additional bedroom with two double beds. Each bedroom has a private bath, two of which have a giant tile soaker tub, shower and double vanity. The other two bathrooms have tile showers and single vanities. All bedrooms have ocean-side balconies for enjoying the breathtaking views at sunrise and sunset.
Every room has a cooling and calming ceiling fan which enhances the ocean breeze and provides a comfortable climate. Although they are seldom necessary, there are air conditioner packs in each of the bedrooms and in the kitchen.
The spacious kitchen has all the necessities. There is a dinning counter and a beautifully furnished dinning room for a enjoying a simple snack or an elaborate authentic meal.
The comfortable living room features an entertainment armoire which houses a television with satellite service, DVD player and stereo system.

Only a five minute drive from Villa Gummerson, the Tulum Ruins was the only Mayan City built directly on the ocean. This ancient city is said to date back to 400 - 900 AD. The magnificent rock formations stand along the beautifully clear blue-green Caribbean Sea and are certainly worth a visit.
A 40 minute drive from the villa, Coba is situated between two lakes in the midst of a jungle. Coba is home to Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in Northern Yucatan.
The most popular of the Mayan Ruins, Chichen Itza is approximately 70 miles Northwest of Villa Gummerson. Chichen Itza is the largest and most well-known Mayan village, most famous for its pyramid with the 98 steps to heaven. Get there early to beat the crowds.
Perfect for everyone, with something for the whole family to enjoy. XCaret is an Eco Archeological theme park; snorkel in an underground river, swim with dolphins, visit the aquarium and learn about Mayan culture.
Get ready for a day full of fun. Xel-Hal is a beautiful and educational ecological water park. Go snorkeling in a subterranean cave, swim with dolphins, go tubing or simply enjoy the natural beauty. Get there early and check the feeding times by the bridge. Snorkeling during feeding time brings all the amazing fish up close and personal. Definitely a must do!
Ready for some adventure? Take the three-minute drive to Dos Ojos, the world's second best cavern for snorkeling or diving. Definitely get a tour guide to take you through the nooks and crannies of the amazing underground caves. Experience the stalagmite and stalagtite as well as some creatures along the way.
Looking for some more cave adventures? Head over to Hidden Worlds cenote. Connected to Dos Ojos and other area cenotes, at Hidden Worlds, you will encounter less crowds. If underwater activities are not for you, take the zip-line through the jungle. At 30-feet high and 600-feet long, you will have an exhilarating trip above the treetops to the other side.
Add some excitement to your vacation on an ATV tour through the jungle. Take a two-hour tour through the jungle, visit ancient Mayan ruins, swim in a crystal clear cenote and explore caves.
For the snorkeler experience the mysterious and secret world of the Maya while snorkeling the cenotes and underground rivers of Tak Be Ha, Tak Bi Luum and Hilario's Well.
