Villa Chianti Classico sweeps the far horizon with unforgettable Chianti
vistas seen from dawn to dusk. This ideally positioned paradise, midway
between Florence and Siena, is the ultimate Tuscan experience. While
residing on one of Chianti’s largest olive oil producing estates, our guests
are invited to the owner’s nearby production facility for a grand tour to
see the processing of extra virgin olive oil.
Gentle patterns of vineyards and groves extend beyond the villa’s
brilliantly landscaped grounds. The pool gradually deepens ending in a
soft cascade above this Tuscan dreamscape. A variety of seating areas
and furnished patios beckon.
The remarkable restoration of this non-smoking villa reflects the vision
and style of its owners. Completely screened and air conditioned, the
main villa is divided into three suites and includes a separate apartment
for four in the adjacent caretaker’s cottage. Brick archways, beamed
ceilings, terracotta floors and fireplaces accent an array of quality Tuscan
furnishings. The tower bedroom, with a stunning 360º view, is worth the
climb. A number of smaller living rooms and four kitchens are dispersed
throughout.
The lower level features a spa area with fitness equipment, a sauna, an
electric massage table and an indoor hot tub overlooking the groves. This
area is open from 11 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm (closed Sunday).
Accessed from a separate entrance, the English-speaking management
office is open during the same hours. The staff can arrange for cooking
classes, dinner reservations and based on availability, upon arrival,
massages, yoga lessons and reflexology treatments.
Guests renting from November through March receive one complimentary
spa treatment per person during their winter getaway. Maid and meal
service may be requested when booking or arranged at the villa with 48
hours notice. For ordered meals, a separate dining cottage just across
from the main villa may be used. For groups of 18 or less, the caretaker’s
cottage apartment is closed.
Tavarnelle Val di Pesa with some shops, restaurants and a Thursday
morning market is just over a mile away. Being 10 minutes from the Siena
to Florence highway leads to either city in under 45 minutes.

machine. Half bath. Staircase to the first floor: One bedroom with a queen
size bed, TV, steps up to a loft area with a single bed and en suite
bathroom with shower. Two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, TV
and en suite bathroom, one with Jacuzzi tub and hand shower, one with
Jacuzzi shower and doors to a furnished terrace. One bedroom with two
single, joinable beds and TV. One bathroom with shower.
Suite C: First floor: This suite is not connected internally to Suite B. Game
room with doors to a furnished terrace and PC. Living/dining room with
fireplace, sofabed and TV. Small kitchen with stove top, oven, fridge,
dishwasher and washing machine. Three bedrooms each with a queen
size bed, TV and en suite bathroom with shower.
Open hallway with a single day bed and steps up to a loft area with a
bathroom with shower.
Second floor tower: One bedroom with a queen size bed.
For 19 to 22/28 guests:
Sofabeds in the main villa may be used and the caretaker’s cottage
apartment is opened:

Shopping and dining: There are 3-4 restaurants, a small supermarket and
several food shops in Tavarnelle, a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from
the property.
Not to be missed: The complimentary tour of the owner's commerical
olive oil production facility where the process is seen from the labortary
to the bottling. Massage treatments including: antistress, aromatherapy,
sports, shiatsu, watsu (in the pool) and foot reflexology. These services
may be arranged upon arrival with the reception office. Guests renting
from Nov - March receive one complimentary treatment per person.
Public Transportation: In the town of Tavarnelle, there is bus service to
Florence and Siena with both routes taking one hour and service ending
at 8 pm. Service to Florence runs every couple of hours while Siena is on a
commuter schedule with a few morning and evening runs.
Tennis courts: In the village of Noce, a few minutes drive from Tavarnelle.
Golf: In Grassina, a 30 minute drive away, at the 18 hole "Golf Club
Ugolino Firenze". Open year round. Closed on Mondays between October
and March.
Open air markets: Morning markets are held in Tavarnelle on Thursdays,
in San Donato in Poggio on Fridays, in Barberino Val d'Elsa on Saturdays,
in Poggibonsi on Tuesdays and in San Casciano Val di Pesa on Mondays.
