West Bay Beach is renown as being one of the world's most beautiful - with luxurious Villa Joya en Bayside located oceanfront. West Bay Beach offers baby powder sand and coral that comes right up to shore, which is wonderful for snorkeling and diving. Viewing is possible in the nearby glass bottom boat or from Villa Joya's large deck. There are numerous restaurants, dive operators, shops, vendors, and recreational activities all within a short stroll down the exquisite beach. You may take a short ride via water or land taxi to colorful and busy West End for an extravaganza of dining and shopping options.

Roatan Rental Payment Policy
Payment terms: 50% due immediately to confirm the reservation and balance along with a small security deposit due 30 days prior to arrival. Security deposit will be refunded within 72 hours of departure depending upon condition of property. Payments to be effected by check, wire transfer, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or PayPal.
Details for arrangement of payment will be communicated at time of reservation. Fees charged by the payment entity company will be added to rental fee. Fees range from 2.9% to 3.9%.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations to be in writing via email with confirmation of receipt
Cancellation fee ~ $100.00
45 day notice with second booking same time period achieved ~ 75% refund
45 day notice without second booking achieved ~50%.
30 day notice with second booking same time period achieved ~ 50 % refund
30 day notice without second booking achieved ~25% refund
Less than 30 day notice w/ 2nd booking ~ 25% of deposit & 100% final payment
Less than 30 day notice w/ no 2nd booking ~ no refund of deposit
All refunds are to be percentage stated less bank or PayPal fees.
Except for lost rentals, non-refunded rental deposits may be used toward future rental.
The island currency is the Lempira.
All water at the resort comes from two spring-fed wells and is chlorinated. This water is delicious and safe to drink. While traveling around the island, consider the source of the water before you drink it. If you are not at a resort or a major restaurant, drink bottled water. Also, when buying bottled water, please check the seal.

Scuba and skin diving of world's second largest barrier reef that comes right up to shore at the west end of West Bay (short walk from Villa). Canopy tours and tropical wildlife park within walking distance. Dolphin Research Center is a short taxi ride away. Restaurants and PADI dive shop next door and others available a short walk down the beach. The tourist town of West End is a short water or land taxi ride away where there are numerous excellent International restaurants and shops.
