The artist/owner has tastefully furnished his spacious, virtually identical, mountain facing studio apartments which are centrally air conditioned. The California king bed, along with the carpeted bedroom / living area, make these desirable retreats. Also, there's a rollaway bed with standard size mattress for a third guest.
In each unit, the fully furnished kitchen, the bath and lanai (balcony) have been ceramic tiled. The kitchen is complete with full size appliances, a microwave, cookware, dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and towels (as well as beach towels) are provided. Leave your hair dryer and iron at home. A glass top table and 2 chairs grace the lanai.
Bring your own CD's! There's a CD/tape/FM stereo player. There's also cable TV with VCR. The direct phone allows free local calling (saving you 75¢ per call compared to going through a front desk.) And there's an answering machine.
High speed internet cable access is now available.
There is even an on-your-floor coin operated laundry facility. Tennis courts are right across the street. World class golf (think Mercedes Open), deep sea fishing and all water activities are available nearby.
Feel the breeze, see the sea even as you enter the lobby. The pool? The beach? What a choice. What a dilemma!

The diving was pretty good considering there was that big swell a couple weeks before we were there. Did an early morning (still dark) dive at Black Rock and it was awesome. Anyway, we really enjoyed the convenience of being so close to town and not far from the harbors. Will recommend to friends!

Jim ~~ We just returned from Maui, and I want to thank you for the use of your two condos. Lahaina Shores is an incredible location, within walking distance of everything, yet quiet and right on the beach. And the pool is great. It is easily the best condo for anyone wanting to stay in West Maui.
Since we love South Maui, Maui Vista is the ideal location for us, and we really enjoyed our time there, especially with the new appliances and air conditioners. The one downside is the bed at Maui Vista. Compared to your beautiful bed at Lahaina Shores it is pretty awful. I actually slept on the pull-out couch a few times because my back was hurting so much. So, hopefully a new bed or mattress cover is in the budget some time soon. (Replaced with same brand mattress set as Lahaina Shores on 2/14/05. Happy Valentine's Day!)

Hi Jim ~~ We arrived home Thursday a little jet-lagged, sun burnt, and recuperating from an absolutely wonderful vacation. Thank you so much for the use of your fantastic condo. It was perfect. The location was great, the pool wonderful, and so close to the ocean, which was totally unexpected judging from the pictures. The condo is certainly well-equipped with all the necessary utensils/amenities. The bed was great and so was the central air conditioning. "Your mountain view is spectacular . . ."
This is just a thank you for our recent stay. Your condo is lovely, and you have furnished it with just about every possible amenity that we use, such as VCR, blender, iron, 77-channel cable TV, etc. Your mountain view is spectacular and the quality of the property (super-fast elevators, well maintained and beautiful grounds, great laundry room, activity desk always open, friendly staff, etc) make Lahaina Shores a great choice. An easy 7 minute walk and you are downtown, and you have no parking hassles in order to enjoy Lahaina.
We have been to many places and yours is one of the best. We look forward to staying again next year, perhaps for a longer time.

We snorkeled almost every day in front of the Hotel & I believe that the coral and fish here are as good as anywhere on the island (and it's nice for beginners that it is only waist deep) ~~ the artwork is wonderful we plan on ordering a print when back in Tempe with the checkbook handy..

I'll recommend your place to any friends looking for an economical place to stay, it was just great. I'm not sure how often you go over there, so I wanted to let you know that the fridge is not keeping things very cold and it makes a funny (loud) noise sometimes. (Since replaced with a Maytag!)

Ahhhhhh! Great place Lahaina Shores!
Hi, ~~ I was actually looking for orchid ornaments and got to this page! We have stayed at Lahaina Shores once -- we seem to get to Hawaii once in ten years, or more. Last visit was with my Mom and she always stays at the Lahaina Shores Resort. It is close to Lahaina -- within walking distance (we enjoyed a parade last time we were there -- in about 1995), right next to that interesting little shop area, on the beach, close to luau's, good place to stay so you can head out to other destinations on Maui. We had a WONDERFUL time! Last time with my Mom was great--enjoyed taking photos of the lovely hibiscus there at the place and also took the Lavengra sailing vessel to Molokini Island ~ wow, that was a super trip and we have such great memories and photos! Our daughter was just starting high school then and it was her first trip to Hawaii. We sure had a wonderful time there! ~~ My Mom is 87 now and isn't too sure she could make another trip over (she has had hip surgery on both hips and still has a lot of trouble with pain in the right leg that the doctors say to "just live with". But, we talk about Lahaina Shores all the time! As in: "Boy, wouldn't it be nice to stay at the Lahaina Shores again!" ~~ Just had to write to express my appreciation for the wonderful time we had at the Lahaina Shores Resort! It is a place we will always stay when on Maui. I will run off a print of your ad and give it to my Mom -- she will love having it!

Hi Jim ~~ We just got back from our honeymoon in Maui yesterday. The weather was a bit of a surprise, but all in all, we had a great trip.
