Property Information
Located in Merida of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico is our beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bathroom vacation home which can accommodate up to eight vacationers at a time. Located steps away from the soft sands leading to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and an amazing panoramic view of the ocean and evenings sunset, our vacation home is designed to provide you with the relaxing worry free vacation time you’ve earned.
Within our home the first bedroom is designed with a Master Bed and a full private bathroom. The second room is designed with both a queen sized and double sized bed and a full private bathroom. The third bedroom is designed with a double sized bed and full private bathroom. You’ll also have all the home away from home feeling with a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffeemaker. Sheets and towels are provided and daily maid service is available.
Built over the Mayan city of T’ho, you’ll be able to explore the incredibly rich and historic culture all around. Whether you’re exploring Mayan Ruins or photographing the vast architectures of the colonial periods, or vacation home is the right choice for your vacation. Cancun Mexico is just a day’s trip away.

75% Deposit Required - but refunded if cancellation is reasonably timely

Property Activities
Capital of the state of Yucatan, Merida (MAY-ree-dah) lies 30 kilometers (18 miles) from the western Yucatan gulf coast and the beach resort of Progreso. It makes an excellent base for exploring the Yucatan's awesome Mayan treasures and is also a fascinating colonial city destination in its own right. This is one of Mexico's most hospitable and nostalgic colonial cities. Attractions center around the city's lovely Plaza Mayor, bordered by graceful buildings and shade trees. Many of the city's older buildings, dating back to the 17th and 18th century, have white and pastel exteriors. Numerous museums and markets bring alive the area's fascinating Mayan culture, while surrounding the city are some of the world's most important ancient archaeological sites. The cities of Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Sayil, Kabah, Labna, and Edzna are within a 160 km. (96 miles) radius of Merida. Merida's visitor attractions include historic sightseeing, gateway to the Mayan world, excellent shopping
The House is located between Chelem and Cuburna, and is closer to Chuburna than Chelem. Chuburna and Chelem are two quiet fishing villages to the west of Progreso .
Chuburna, the further town west along our Gulf Coast is noted for its many restaurants that include small pools where the kids can play while you enjoy long drinks in the grassy shade. You can stroll along the beaches, enjoy the quiet of a small town, buy fresh fish and vegetables form the local fishermen and farmers and relax.
Chelem is a bit more populated. Here you will find an open-air market, a small grocery that will have most of what you need for daily living, and plenty of seafood restaurants and cold beer!
Merida is just 25 minutes away where you will find a bustling city with a Wal Mart, Sam's and Costco's, as well as American restaurant chains (Wendy's, Carl's, TGI Friday, Boston's, Bennigans, etc). |
