Residencias Reef Resort is a brand new luxury development of privately-owned condominium homes located 9 miles south of town(15 miles from the Airport) on San Francisco Beach, one of the best natural sandy beaches in Cozumel. One of the advantages of this property is that it is garden-style; thus,out the door and down one-flight of stairs to walk to the pool or beach(no elevators)about 100 yards. The grounds are resort-style and tropical. It is one of the very few Condo/hotel beaches on Cozumel that stretches for a mile providing the opportunity for long walks.(see www.residenciasreef.com for an overview of the property development & location).
We recently purchased this condo as our family vacation home. Our unit is a very private second floor(out of 3 floors), 1730 interior square foot, designer-furnishings condo which has stunning views of the beach, caribbean ocean and large pool; as well as magnificent sunsets from the large terraces off of the living room and master bedroom. The fully-equipped kitchen has granite counters and mahogany cabinets. Everything is available to prepare your own meals or a private chef can be arranged to prepare and serve meals. The breakfast bar/counter has 4 handsome wood-crafted stools and the dining table has 6 lovely seagrass woven chairs.
The living area has two heavenly-comfortable sofas, two large comfortable chairs, four caster-wheel stools(great for playing board games), TV with Dish Network, DVD and CD stereo in a large entertainment cabinet. The main terrace has a rattan-style table with 6 matching chairs to enjoy morning coffee, board games and sunset cocktails. I offer a cordless phone with unlimited calls to the US and Canada; and, internet connection so just bring your laptop and ethernet cable.
There are 3 bedrooms all with King-size beds with new mattresses. Each room has its own AC unit so that each person can control their own desired temperature. The master bedroom has a private bath with tub/shower; while the two guest-rooms share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.(there is a twin air-mattress if needed for a child).
The beach has palapas and chaises. The Pool is directly on the beach, has a huge deck, bathrooms and a counter area for you to plug in your blender of frozen drinks!!!
The Reef Club Resort Hotel is next-door which has a Dive shop and Pier, activities desk, jet skis, a SPA and convenience store. On the other side are 3 Beach Clubs/restaurants for lunch, drinks and kids fun.
The complex has 24 hour gated-security and can summon you a taxi (they are always at the Reef Club) from the phone in the condo.
Maid Service and Bottled water is included.
If you have a larger party, I can arrange for additional rentals in the same building as I know the owners of several units.
