"Mark, first of all, thank you for inquiring as to how the stay was. I can tell you that we all loved the condo!!! I truly believe it was the most beautiful place that we have stayed at so far in our travels. Thank you so much for arranging it for us. The ocean was truly beautiful and we loved being at the pool and being able to look out at the ocean. It was the best of both worlds. I also think that staying for 10 days made the vacation seem not to go as fast. I will definitely be recommending Residencias Reefs to anyone that I know will be going to Cozumel. Again thank you for all your help in setting it up!!" Lori W.

This was a great rental! There were two couples and a 1,2,3 year old! When it rained we felt like we were at home and didn't suffer any cabin fever. The best part of the trip was the cook though - the management company lined up Alejandro and he cooked, served and cleaned up. It was wonderful. Next year we're going for 3 weeks.

Mark,
We had a great time! The condo was perfect for a family of 4 and was beautiful. Our kids loved the pool and I enjoyed the fact that there was no crowds like at some of the larger resorts. Matt and Patrick from the management company took great care of us and helped us with whatever we needed. All in all a great vacation and we will definitely be back!
Susan Benson, Pearland, Texas
Mark, your condo was better than advertised. Great location beautiful grounds and beach. Victor was very helpful. The condo was large even for my wife and I and 3 kids. I would not hesitate to go back to Cozumel as the people are very friendly and we always felt safe. I would highly recommend your condo to anybody looking for upscale vacation lodging.

Mark thanks for sharing your lovely condo with my family. It was very spacious and comfortable. We traveled with our two teenagers and they loved the beach and pool. It was a perfect vacation to celebrate the end of the school year. Our favorite off site activities were miniature golf and visiting the east side of the island. We also spent a day in Playa De Carmen and visited Xcaret.

Mark, Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo. Your condo was perfect for us. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Needless to say Michele and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The beach, pool, and exquisite landscaping made our
stay a wonderful and relaxing experience. I must note that your consideration, thoughtfulness, advice, and courtesy made our visit more than exceptional. Hope all is well with you and your new job! Hope to see you in the future.
Sincerely,
Steve and Michele.

We had a great time staying at the condo, the beach was so quiet and the complex was not crowded. It was so nice to get away from people for a week. Victor was so helpful in setting us up for snorkeling and fishing. The bone fishing on the north end of the island is pretty fun. We rented a car for the week and glad we did as we could go anywhere we wanted. Thanks for a great week we will be back.

This condo was perfect for our familiy (2 adults and 2 kids). Patrick met us at the airport and assisted us with renting a Jeep from Executive/Ace which was right outside the airport. Highly recommend renting a vehicle if you plan to make trips to town or want to venture over to the other side of the island. We've been to Cozumel many times, and really enjoyed this location. The condo was clean, everything was new, and Victor was very helpful. We felt right at home.
Day 1, we ventured down to Paradise Beach which is very convenient. Day 2 we had reservations for the Royal Swim with the dolphins in Chakanab Park. This was the favorite part of the trip for the kids. Bring your snorkel gear! Day 3 - we went to the other side of the island and stopped at Chen Rio for some swimming and snorkeling. We had lunch at Coconuts which has a beautiful view, but the bar area is not the most appropriate for children. Ask for a table away from the bar......they like to take photos of the girl tourists to put in their photo albums. Day 4 - we went to the Intercontinential Presidente hotel which is where we have stayed in the past for some more swimming and snorkeling.
We went to town each night for shopping and dinner. I think you find better deals in town in the evening after all of the cruise passengers have left for the day. We ate at Prima's which is always a favorite for seafood and pasta. We also tried the French Quarter which was the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen in Mexico! Food and service was excellent. Definately bring water shoes.
Thanks Mark! We had a great time!

Wow! We had a great time. We have stayed at many resorts all over the world, but there was great freedom and solitude at Residencia's Reef. Many times we were alone at the pool or the beach. We rented a jeep and just went when we felt like it. Mark and his family are awesome to work with. Victor, with the property management company, was awesome and really took care of us. If you can do it, rent this place, you wont be sorry!!!
Ron Showalter, Loveland, Colorado
WOW! You will love this condo!! Patrick met us at the airport as planned and was very helpful. Victor ROCKS THE ISLAND!! He was always checking on us, and helped us get all our luggage to and from the airport. We used the pool and beach daily. Our teens adored climbing the "iceberg" a block down at paradise beach ($9ea)and (great for lunch too)We rented a 7 pass van from Executive Car Rental(Ace) and it was the best deal! Say hi to Julio, he was honest and fair. You want to rent a car, as the condo is a bit remote and taxis cost at least $15 one way. We drove all over the island and to the San Gervasio ruins. We went to the grocery store daily, Chedraui, and cooked at the condo often. It is totally stocked for meal prep. Snorkeling is fabulous at Uva's and off Fiesta Americana (they serve lots of food, drinks and have great beach lounges or hammocks too.) The maid service was wonderful, thanks to Selene! She really, really cleans. We had clean sheets and towels anytime we needed. Also, 4 to 5 huge jugs of drinking water was always available. Some of our favorite restuarants were Prima's and (very romantic) Pancho's Backyard. We also had superb tacos at goofy little restuarants dotted around the island. We love it in Coz, and Mark's condo was the perfect home away from home!!

The condo is awesome. We would highly recommend it to everyone. It is equiped with everything that you need. Beach is right there. Short drive to town. We enjoyed our stay very much!!! Thank you again. It was just wonderful!!! Anna Miller

This condo lived up to the billing. Six adults and one 9 year old were very comfortable for 6 days. The beds are very comfortable and the condo is furnished with everything you need. I would definitely suggest renting a car as you are a bit remote. Be sure to go to the other side of the island. It is beautiful. Good snorkeling is very close by. Pool is not crowded. Beach is perfect. Lot's of action in the ocean just in front of the condo complex. The para-sailing boats take off right in front of you - fun to watch. I highly recommend staying here. We will return again.

Mark,
Everything worked out fine, your place fit the bill for us. It was
well equiped with everything we needed to feel at home away from home.
We rented a car for the week and that was really the way to go $129
per week for a 4 door with a trunk. We went around the island 2 times
and were in and out of town a few times just about everyday as well.
Victor was very helpful, maid service mid week was perfect for us.
We'll certainly steer anyone interested in Cozumel your way.
Thanks,
Jeff

email sent to me by guest regarding free phone calls to the U.S. from the phone in the condo:
"I forgot to add it to our comments, but I think you should post the US phone access you make available in your condo. (I forget what this is called exactly.) That is a really nice feature and saved us quite a bit of money."
email sent to me by guest staying 12/23-30, 2006:
"The condo was great, very comfortable. We made great use of the blender, making smoothies every morning with mango and bananas. And the travel packs were useful too- we packed lunches for some of our outings.
The management company was helpful and accomodating. Victor met us by the ferry, helped load our luggage and took some in his car too. We always had ample drinking water and clean towels.
On our last day, one of our traveling companions was injured and we spent some hours in the emergency room of the private hospital. All went well, and our friend is fine. I called Ricardo, and he was great- he gave me ferry times and asked me to call him if there was something he could do to help.
Swimming with dolphins at Chankanaab was very fun for us. We really enjoyed a snorkeling trip with Victor's friend Hernan. We visited Chen Rio beach twice. The kids loved climbing the rocks, and it's really beautiful there. The kitesurfing was fascinating to watch. We drove home after sunset along the highway that circles the southern end of the island. We called a long stretch 'the crabway' because so many crabs were crossing the road.
We visited San Francisco beach a couple of times. I got really fed up the last time. They nickle and dime for everything, and the price mysteriously goes up during the visit. The prices per item weren't that big, but after 3 hours I discovered that we'd spent about $150- American dollars, on food, drinks and chair fees. Drinks that that started out as costing $6 went up to $10, and they added in tips and didn't reveal this.
I liked the notebooks you left with restaurant comments. I wanted to add to it, but didn't make the time. La Choza was good, very friendly service and very friendly drunks at the bar. I was nervous when we sat down at El Moro because all the other diners looked like us. But because the kitchen is open, we spoke with Carla, one of the chefs, and she was wonderful. She made a spicy seafood soup for us (normally it isn't spicy). We also had a pork milanese with the hottest sauce on the side I've had in years, a great chicken dish with ham and cheese, and fish and vegetables cooked in parchment (foil actually) with a creamy cheese sauce. At La Mission, I think they had the best lime soup we had on the trip overall. I loved the service- they were so attentive the servers were nearly running into each other at our table. I had a grilled lobster there priced very reasonably, I thought.
Overall, a great vacation, and very comfortable accomodations. Thank you for opening your condo to us!
I have a friend traveling to Cozumel later this winter. I'm recommending your condo to her.

"Mark,
The condo is great and we appreciate all the help.
With Victor’s help we rented a jeep (which helps with runs into town and around the island) and found a dive master we really liked.
We went on the discover dive yesterday and saw an eel (HUGE), barracuda, sea horse, crab, lobster, and a ton of fish. We celebrated the boy’s first dive and ate at the Lobster House on the north side of the island.
Once again the condo is beautiful and we appreciate it.
Merry Christmas,
John
The condo was great, very omfortable. The rooms were big, so that our party of 7 (2 families traveling together) all had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning easy to control.
We made great use of the blender, making smoothies every morning with mango and bananas. And the travel packs in the kitchen were useful too- we packed lunches for some of our outings.
I called the condo management office, and they were great- they gave me ferry times and asked me to call if there was something they could do to help.
Overall, a great vacation, and very comfortable accomodations. Thank you for opening your condo to us!

This property exceded my expectations. The condo is huge with 3 large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. No waiting to shower! The furnishings are 1st class; Dish network tv was great to catch up on the "real world".
The most enjoyable aspect of our stay was the private beach and pool. I can't tell you how relaxing it was to just hang out without crowds of people everywhere. The staff was very polite to us at all times. I will be coming back to Reef Residencias as soon as possible.

You talk about going all out!! This condo is better than discribed. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the unit. It has a real "Tommy Bahama" feeling. No stone was left unturned. I have stayed all over the world and prefer renting condos instead of the standard hotel room. This was one of the most comfortable and nicest units I'v stayed in. The couches were nice and comfortable(plenty of cushion), the kitchen is well stocked and the bedroom and bathroom have everything you need. Would recommend this unit to anyone who just wants to go and relax and not have to worry about a thing. Thanks again Mark for letting us stay and look forward to staying in this unit again real soon.

I stayed here Oct 17 to 21 & the accomodations were perfect. The condo is just as described; extremely comfortable. The unit is quite spacious, especially the living area (great couches & american satellite tv really helped us unwind after long days of running around in the sun). The terrace is has a great view; looking straight at the pool, beach, & water; very theraputic. The property itself is guarded & the staff was very helpful (we were greeted at the airport when we arrived; greeted again at the condo; & given a cell phone to contact the staff if needed). Its location is far enough away from downtown to avoid the hustle & commotion during the day, but close enough (10-15min drive)where heading in for breakfast & dinner wasnt a chore. I really had a nice sense of seclusion at the condo & on the grounds, but with the Reef resort to north and San Francisco & Paradise Beaches to the south, activity, people, water sports & lunch spots are a quick walk away (literally next door to the complex on each side). I would definitely stay here again. Cozumel is great island for similar reasons, vibrant downtown, diving & fishing trips, great restaurants & shops, while the remote eastside of the island offers seclusion & quiet relaxing beachtime. All within 30 minutes of each other. I highly recommend this condo & Cozumel as a whole for a place to unwind.

This new well-appointed Residencias Reef Resort condominium with its beautiful views of Cozumel’s San Francisco beach was the perfect setting for my family’s fall getaway. Atypical for a beach rental, all the comforts of home were at our fingertips, as well as luxury extras including a fully equipped kitchen, a television with dvd, cd, in room washer and dryer and individual units for air conditioning each room (a great plus in this beach climate). With easy access to the beach, pool and Reef Club and only a short drive to downtown, I anticipate this property will be on our list of return destinations. Although well known for its snorkeling and scuba diving, we enjoyed the simple pleasures of private beach access, great shopping and exceptional restaurants. The wonderful food and table service provided by Casa Denis, Guido’s and Sonora rivals that offered by my large metropolitan city and was an unexpected plus. My husband hit the links and reported a challenging layout with plenty of interesting holes. Great accommodations! Great activities! Great vacation for adults or families!
