Casa Melagrano a charming Italian country house that has been fully
refurbished using its original stones. Airy comfortable rooms, outdoor
private swimming pool and breathtaking views of distant "borgos" (small
villages), that dot the appenine hillsides, make this villa a remarkable
panoramic setting. The villa will comfortably accommodate eight people and
is fully equipped with all amenities for a trouble free and relaxing holiday to
remember.

Weekly rentals only Saturday 2pm check in Satuday 9am check out

A security charge of $300 will be added to the final bill, but will be returned two weeks after your stay by which time the property will have
been checked for damage and breakages.
Casa Melagrano is a 50 minute drive to Bologna, a magnificent medieval
city that has an international airport and 55 minutes to Florence world
renouned city for rich artistic culture.
The closest train station is located in the town of Vergato about an 8
minute drive down the hill from Casa Melagrano and another 10 minute
drive to the Spa town of Porretta Terme.

Inside The Villa
Ground Floor
The attractively decorated entrance hall leads to a comfortable TV lounge with an open fireplace, a TV with satellite service and Sky News and a DVD player. This room opens onto a dining/living room which
comfortably seats eight adults. The sunny kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove, electric oven, large fridge and freezer and all utensils, china and glasses. There is an open log fireplace and French doors that lead out onto the patio. There is a bathroom with full bath on the ground floor and a spacious cloakroom.
Second Floor
There are two double bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom and a double bed, and a further two double bedrooms with twin beds. There is an additiional bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC.
Outside the house
The house is surrounded by 30 acres of land
Adjacent to one side of the house is a charming stone oven perfect for
outdoor cooking. A covered gazebo also sits by the other side of the
house and is ideal for outdoor summer dining. Steps lead down to a
private in ground pool with cabana and outdoor shower.
Property Activities
The villa is surrounded by some of the most beautiful views in Italy, from
majestic misty mountains to green and glorious meadows drenched in
brilliant sunshine. Hiking and searching for mushrooms,chestnuts and
wild berries, in the surrounding woods, is a local favourite past-time.
Short picturesque car rides to the surrounding small "borgos" that line
these hills permits the relaxed vacationer to gently discover typical local
dishes, fine cuisine and cultural traditions. |
