A magnificent single storey House that previous guests call 'The' House in Greece. Spacious, in its own enclosed estate covering 2 acres, and a stunning blend of the modern with ancient Greece, bringing together 2400BC walls and stone into a luxurious setting with every amenity. Easy to reach from Greece's mainland airports, by the Aegean coast and an area where many Athenians choose to weekend, is one of the most beautiful & unspoilt areas of Greece, and a Villa that guests call ‘Magnificent’, 'Stunning', Spectacular', and 'Superb'. Standing on a hillside in 2 acres of gardens and living space, overlooking olive groves, the Aegean and distant mountains and by rural Greek village, it’s a large, stunning House comfortably sleeping to 11/13 (with a further cottage in the same grounds for an additional 6 if wanted). It has stone floors, modern interiors, lots of natural light, a private pool with a bar, gardens, living accommodation covering 13 rooms, and huge sun terraces overlooking the gardens (with lawns, cherry, citrus, fig and palm trees). Beaches are 5 minutes away.
Unique in style, it is an original restoration by a Greek architect from ancient ruins of some bakeries, stables and courthouses, and although has every modern convenience still retains the original features of colour, lots of natural light and stonework, with 2,400BC walling around the poolside and BBQ areas.
It's ideal for experiencing an unspoilt and real Greece and its location gives visitors the pleasures of both classical and modern Greece - Delphi, Volos, Pelion, Meteora, Thermopylae, Evia, and the Sporades Islands are all near by - in an location where Athenians weekend, so visitors are within minutes of many sophisticated bars, café’s, many choices of excellent taverna’s and restaurants, nightlife, shops, tennis, sailing and more.
It features a 30metre long front sun terrace (lit under floor at night facing the gardens. A huge living room is at the centre of the villa, opening onto the terraces, with 3 separate seating areas, TV/DVD/Satellite and a huge log fireplace.
At one end of the villa is the 'Turkish Room' - a further occasional room for extra sleeping than features original, beautiful Turkish furnishings that opens onto the main 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms area. At the other, the villa opens onto its modern farmhouse style kitchen, with a separate dining room for 12, and a further en suite bedroom and bathroom.
A large private pool, barbecue/spit area and fully equipped bar area extends on other side of living area.
The property boasts 5+ bedrooms (four doubles, 1 single, plus 2/4 spare beds in the 'Turkish Room' area), three baths with showers, bidet and toilets, fully fitted farmhouse style kitchen, a dining room maintained in original design with stone floors, with open wood fire; Private entrances through a courtyard or the gardens.
We pride ourselves on welcoming our guests into a warm, friendly atmosphere and have designed some additional experiences to make your stay special: Chef Nights by candlelight, poolside, where guests can immerse themselves in wonderful Greek cooking and join in the bouzouki dancing; Or private sailing days, where guests can cruise to an uninhabitated island for a day of relaxation and swimming on a private island. The Villa is spacious and tastefully furnished, with over 650m of living space, plus large terraces facing onto the gardens, and a separate private pool area, surrounded by ancient walls and stonework. The pool area has a large spit BBQ (ideal for roasting a complete lamb) and a bar area with fridge, so you don’t have to move far for cold drinks. Original 2,500 year old walling still exists around part of the the pool area.
The Villa’s 13 rooms include 3 bathroooms (2 with baths and 1 with walk-in shower), a farmhouse style kitchen with farmhouse table, a separate dining room for 8-10 people, a beautiful Turkish-styled room separate from the main living area, which can double as another living area or additional bedroom, and 5 standard bedrooms. The main living room has several seating areas, and in its main seating area a magnificent open wood fireplace, with Satellite TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, and a small library of books and films.

Meteora
2 hours away : One of the most amazing places in Greece, if not the world is Meteora. If you have seen pictures of Greece or spend any time looking through travel brochures then you have certainly been impressed by the monasteries perched on top of enormous rocks and have probably wondered how on earth they built them. The rocks themselves are impressive, rising from the plains of Thessaly a few miles northwest of Kalambaka. In fact the producers of James Bond found them so impressive that they had Roger Moore (or his stunt double most likely) climb the stone face of one in the movie For Your Eyes Only. Nowdays these rock faces are climbed by professional and amatuers looking for a challenge and what Paros is to wind-surfers, Meteora is to rock-climbers.

Delphi
1 hour 30 mins away : Archaelogists speculate that organized life began in Delphi as early as 1500 B.C. The Delphi Oracle, which was the most important in Ancient Greece, is located in a place called Pytho, and initially belonged to the goddess Gee (Earth) who offered it to Apollo. This god, after killing Python, the area's dragon, became master of the Oracle. The dragon was named after the location, Pytho. Apollo was then named Pythian, the Oracle's soothsayer was named Pythia and the festivities in honor of Apollo were named "Pythia".

Mount Pelion
1 hour away : Mount Pelion is a densely forested natural fortress predominating the Magnesia Prefecture in the plain of Thessaly and overlooking the city-port of Volos. The entire area is a treasure trove of legends, myths, history, culture, tradition, and a paradise for the nature loving tourist, the archaeologist, the historian, the anthropologist, as it has since time immemorial been trodden upon by gods and goddesses, demigods and centaurs, titans and giants, nymphs and hamadryads, kings and queens, princes and princesses, heroes and warriors. It has also been the battleground of "Gigantomahia" [the battle of the giants against Zeus], the summer resort of the Olympian gods, the hunting grounds of divinity, royalty and nobility, the venue of mythical weddings and of the first beauty pageant between the fair goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite.
