A Peaceful Escape from Everyday Life....
Relaxed and unhurried: At the Cabins on Laurel Creek you will find yourself among rolling meadows with lots of sky, beautiful white pines, a clear, cold creek, a beautiful mountain pond and views of pastures and Christmas tree farms. This is how it ought to be!

We have taken great care to offer you a cabin where you can feel relaxed and comfortable. Our log cabins were built in the summer of 2003. Each cabin accommodates 4 people. Meadow View is pet free, White Tail and Ravine are pet friendly.

All 3 cabins offer cathedral ceilings, a light and airy décor, one bedroom, one bathroom, a loft accessible by ladder, efficiency kitchen, outdoor grill, picnic table and 2 outside fire pits with 2 benches for camp fires and roasting smores over the open fire!

Ravine & White Tail
are pet friendly

Enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch, the gas log fireplace, air conditioning, ceiling fans and satellite TV. The cabins are spotlessly clean, with all dishes, linens and towels provided.
Overlooking a pond, the cabins are grouped together, perfect for families or groups yet offering privacy.

Kids and adults alike enjoy feeding the fish in our pond or early in the morning observing the wildlife that make their home in the forest around the cabins: birds, deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits.

Located on 10 acres of beautiful mountain land you can stroll through the meadows, climb up the steep wooded hills, enjoy the soothing sound of Laurel Creek and sit on the grassy banks of our pond. Two of our log cabins are pet friendly.

This is the perfect place where it is ok for you to relax and do nothing.

This is also the perfect place to enjoy all the wonderful attractions of the North Carolina High Country and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

For the adventure seekers, there are many exciting options: located within a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, you are in close proximity to all the activities which this mountain area has to offer. Within 10 miles, you can admire the breathtaking, scenic views along the Blue Ridge Parkway, go canoeing and tubing on the New River, or browse through the quaint craft and gift shops in West Jefferson and Glendale Springs. Maybe you prefer to go trout fishing on native trout streams, hike on the many trails of Doughton Park, golf at Mountain Aire or Jefferson Landing Golf Clubs, or take a tour at the Thistle Meadow Winery.

    FISHING

    New River State Park

Cast your line from the river banks and reel in tonight's dinner. The south and north forks of the river provide some of the best smallmouth and redeye bass fishing in the region. The south fork downstream from the US 221 bridge is stocked with muskellunge. Trout fishing is excellent in the smaller, faster tributaries, most of which are designated general trout waters and are stocked regularly with rainbow and brown trout. Anglers need a state fishing license and should obey the regulations of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.

In our quest to find the perfect Christmas tree, we found your cabins, the perfect place to stay.

The cabin was perfect and the location beautiful. I cannot think of anything that could have made it better.

We had a wonderful time (again). This small corner of the mountains is pure heaven. We cannot praise this place enough. You have created a wonderful place: neat, cozy, spotless cabins. All needs are covered. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for this magical place.

We are a group of 5 couples. We rode motorcycle from Minnesota. We were Aah! when we drove up to this beautiful place. We liked the wonderful atmosphere. We rode in heavy fog and a downpour of rain but seeing this made that all better!

We had a wonderful time, I will be booking for next year as soon as we know what our vacation schedule will be. What a wonderful place and the location is not too shabby.
Even though the property is secluded and we did not hear any road noises we found it easy to go back to the stores since the distance is not great. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer, they came out early in the morning and after sunset.

We enjoyed the easy access to the Parkway and appreciated all the thought you put into these cabins, we did not lack for anything and were very comfortable.

Thank you for Cabins on Laurel Creek, we will definitely return.
