The subway station which is located 2 blocks from the apartment puts you in Grand Central Station/42nd street/Midtown Manhattan at the first stop. It is approximately a 5 minute train ride to Manhattan and a 7 minute train ride to Times Square at the second stop. The address to the apartment is: 2-01 50th Avenue, Long Island City, New York 11101. The trains run 24 hours a day 7 days a week or a cab can be at your service waiting for you in front of the building. It takes approximately 1 minute to get to Manhattan by car. Also available is a “Water Taxi” if you would like to take a scenic route to Manhattan across the East River.
The convenience to midtown Manhattan is the reason that I can give such a good price for such a quality apartment. There are also plenty of restaurants & shops in the area.& you will get the best view of Manhattan that you can find from your apartment window or roof top terrace. The building is New York’s best kept secret. Your neighbors would be corporate professionals and local New Yorkers. It's a very safe and clean neighborhood.
