Villa Lila is a detached house located in a small park called Kashutuin, where most homes are full time residences. This park is located right in the middle of the island. From this location nothing is too far away. It’s ideal for those who prefer the laid back surrounding, the many beautiful beaches and the natural parks that the western side of the island offers, but also excellent for those who prefer to be not too far from the attractions, conveniences and diversity that Willemstad has to offer.

By staying at Villa Lila you will be approximately 15 minutes drive from both sides of the island.
All houses at Kashutuin are privately owned. They are all single story homes in beautiful Caribbean colors with private gardens. At the entrance there’s a gate that remains open during the day. At night the gate is closed but can be opened by remote control provided to residents/guests.
THE VILLA
Just short drives from this location are the most beautiful beaches, dive & snorkel sites, natural parks, shopping center, and Willemstad. The nearest beaches (Playa Porto Marie and Daaibooi Beach) are less than 10 minutes drive, while Willemstad is only 15 minutes drive away. HATO Airport is also just a short 10 minutes drive from this location.
FACILITIES
Around the villa is a well-maintained and tropical garden with colorful flowers and tropical plants. The villa has two terrace; a smaller one at the entrance of the house and a larger covered terrace at the backside, offering a great place to relax during your stay.
The villa has a beautifully decorated and furnished living room and a well- equipped open kitchen. Entertainment is provided by stereo with CD player and color TV. Guests are invited to bring their favorite CDs for their enjoyment.
The house is large enough to sleep up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King size bed and a private bathroom. The other two bedrooms share one bathroom and have both double (140 x 200 cm) beds. Both bathrooms have shower only. Like most houses on the island, this villa does not have a boiler for hot water. But the water in the showers is usually hot, as the sun warms up the water during the day. All bedrooms are equipped with split-unit air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. All windows have screens. So those who prefer to sleep with the nice Caribbean breeze can easily do so. There’s always a nice breeze going through the house, which keeps the living area at a pleasant temperature. But those who prefer to be outside will surely enjoy relaxing under the large garden umbrella made out of dried palm leafs. Here one can enjoy a romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner, an exotic cocktail, a fantastic barbecue or a well deserving “siesta”.
Just a short 5 minutes from Villa Lila is Landhuis Daniel, one of Curacao’s best restaurants. Guests are sure to enjoy the breakfast, lunch and dinner that are served at this excellent restaurant.
CLEANING
Villa Lila will be cleaned once a week. Bed linen and towels are both present in the villa and will be replaced by the cleaner.
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Toilet paper, soaps and garbage bags will be placed in the villa prior to your arrival. Other articles such as detergent, washing powder, paper towels, matchboxes, herbs, cooking oil, insecticide, etc. are not standard. These are for the account of guests.
ARRIVAL
Upon arrival to the island our hostess will wait for the guests at the villa, or if necessary she will pick them up at the airport. The hostess will show the villa to the guests and give them the key. The guests will need to complete a check-in form, which the hostess will keep. The guests are responsible for the villa during their stay. A credit card imprint is required as a deposit when guests check in. At check out the hostess will inspect the villa for damage, if there are no problems the credit card imprint will be destroyed.
