Our Kauai, Hawaii, vacation rentals are in four quaint plantation-style cottages, built in the 1940's and lovingly restored over the last 6 years. Each house is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully appointed for self-sufficiency and comfort. Small groups of up to 14 guests can also be accommodated for meetings, retreats and family gatherings. The large living room of Ohana House is a favorite group meeting spot.
We are centrally located in the perfect spot. Just ten minutes north of the airport, the property is on the banks of the Wailua River, a few minutes from the heart of Kapaa town, walking distance to beaches as well as Lydgate family park.
We are also a short drive to all of Kauai's beaches, hiking trails and historic sites. If bicycling is your thing, you don't need to rent a car. Public transportation to either end of the island is within walking distance & you can take your bike along with you on the bus.

OHANA HOUSE
This beautiful plantation home was built in 1942 and remodeled in 2002. Ideal for a family, this house has 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a large fully-equipped kitchen and dining area that invites you to gather around. This house accommodates 6 adults. $300 a night. $1,900 a week.
RIVER COTTAGE
Built in 1943 and remodeled in 2005, this beautiful 500-square-foot studio cottage has original hardwood floors, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and a private lanai. Ideal for a couples & honeymooners, this romantic cottage offers luxurious comfort. $150 a night, $950 a week.
GARDEN COTTAGE
Built in 1942 & remodeled in 2006, this 400-square-foot studio cottage has air conditioning, hardwood floors, tiled bathroom, a queen bed and a garden view. Ideal as a romantic getaway. $95 a night. $650 a week.
CANAL COTTAGE
Built in 1953 and remodeled in 2003, this 700-square-foot one-bedroom cottage has 2 full baths, a kitchenette and a private lanai. Furnished tropical style, this cottage can accommodate four people . $150 a night. $950 a week
There is a 3 night minimum stay for all cottages.
DEPOSIT: A $500 deposit will be required to book your reservation for the Ohana House, $200 for the other cottages (River, Canal & Garden). $2,500 deposit for group bookings.
CLEANING: Ohana house $250; Canal cottage $125; River cottage $90; Garden cottage $60.
TAX: 11.41% tax added to rental rate (4% excise tax and 7.41% transient accommodation tax)
PAYMENT: We accept Visa & MasterCard or a check for your deposit. When we receive your payment we will send you a statement telling you how much you owe and when it is due. Full payment is required 60 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION: All deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations within 60 days of arrival, if we are able to rebook, we will refund all you money minus the deposit.
THESE ARE NON-SMOKING HOUSES: Please respect this requirement.
CHECK-IN is at 3:00 P.M. and CHECK-OUT is at 11:00 A.M.
Please rinse off sand & help us protect & preserve the wood floors in the cottages.
We also ask everyone to respect the honored Hawaiian tradition of always REMOVING SHOES while indoors.
We make every effort to ensure that all equipment is in working order and that the surrounding environment is as pleasing as possible. In the event of an equipment breakdown, we will strive to repair it as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. We cannot guarantee that televisions, appliances, etc. will not break down during your stay (especially with the unrelenting salt air) and therefore, no refunds or adjustments can be made for mechanical failure. We cannot take responsibility for any other unexpected situations beyond our control such as power outages, insects, roosters, weather, nearby construction and the like.
