Knik River Lodge

Picture yourself in a deluxe cabin surrounded by nature at the edge of a glacial river. Ponder the serenity of the wilderness while sitting on your private deck, looking for mountain goats or moose. A winding mountain road leads you deep into the mountainss to the lodge and the National Landmark view of the Knik River. Remote enough to feel like true wilderness, yet perfectly situated for exploring Southcentral Alaska.

Our brand new cabins are well appointed and offer most of the comforts of home. Hardwood floors, luxurious bedding and amenities usually only found in deluxe hotels guarantee a comfortable stay in the Alaskan wilderness. Our purpose is to replenish and revive you- because tomorrow you may choose to hike, climb, kayak, bike, golf, fish or visit the manificent Knik Glacier just around the corner

If you love the great outdoors as much as comfort and privacy, the Knik River Lodge is your perfect Alaskan accommodation.

Additional Rate Information

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation, fully refundable minus a $10 processing fee up to 60 days before arrival. If you cancel between 60 and 30 days you forfeit the deposit, if you cancel less than 30 days before arrival 100% cancelation fee applies. A date change is always free of charge assuming we have availability and we are happy to issue a gift certificate for unused nights.

Our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every item on our menu is created from scratch using the freshest ingredients we can find. We buy locally grown organic vegetables right from the farmer, fresh Alaska salmon and halibut, all natural local buffalo meat and many other delicious local specialties. For breakfast we offer fresh fruit juice, artisan breads, gouda cheese, organic deli meats, yoghurt with a variety of cereals and fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, etc. For lunch expect salads, quiches and sandwiches and for dinner we offer 2 - 3 entree specials. Spoil yourself with one of our scrumptious desserts.

A small but thoughtful selection of wines and local microbrews lifts the spirit after a long day in the great outdoors. Join us for happy hour with wine and cheese (yes, there are good cheeses available in Alaska if you know where to look...)
