C24: Tastefully decorated cottage with a stunning private pool and entertainment area on your doorstep. This property is situated in tropical garden setting in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Warwick and within 5 easy minutes walking distance of both bus route and local supermarket. Close to Bermuda's South Shore Beaches as well as the golf courses of Riddell’s Bay, Southampton Princess and Belmont. The cottage is fully air-conditioned and contains a spacious fully equipped kitchen (including freezer and dishwasher), bedroom with queen bed, living room/dining area and a large bathroom with shower. The cottage has TV, cable, dvd, video, stereo system, phone for local calls, BBQ etc. Just bring beach towels and clothes. There are two guest apartments on this property which may be rented at the same time to provide accommodation for 2 couples. These are both no smoking apartments with weekly maid service.
C12.This delightful studio apartment is situated in a tropical garden setting in a quiet residential neighborhood. Close to Bermuda's South Shore Beaches as well as the golf courses of Riddles Bay, Southampton Princess and Belmont. From here it is a 5 minutes walk to the local supermarket and bus stops. The studio is stylishly decorated in tropical palm fabrics, it has a queen size bed, and comes with all necessities including towels, household linens, iron, hairdryer etc. The bathroom is newly- renovated with large shower, toilet and vanity basin. There is a fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker) with café-table seating. Outside, in a sunny spot is a table and chairs as well as a BBQ for your use. The studio has cable TV, phone for local calls and is air-conditioned. This is a no smoking apartment with weekly maid service.
The parish of Warwick is renowned for its elegant neighborhoods, stately homes and an abundance of parks and nature reserves. The Railway Trail is perfect for walking, jogging or biking as cars and trucks are not permitted to drive upon it- just mopeds and hikers. It is a 15 minute walk down Tribe Road #7 to Warwick Long Bay or Chaplins Bay- a secluded cluster of coves that includes Stonehole Bay and Jobsons Cove. These are truly the last word in romantic deep pink sands strewn with sea shells and gently lapping waves. All that is needed is a picnic, a book, and good company…
The South Shore Road has wonderful views of the South Shore as you roll along on a bus or a moped: magnificent cliffs and many secluded beaches for you to explore, from Southampton to Paget. The bus service runs along South Shore Road or Middle Road east to Hamilton, or west towards Somerset. There is a bus stop close to the house. For the more adventurous, mopeds or scooters can be ordered upon arrival (these are paid for by credit card only.) White's Grocery Store has an excellent selection of goods and only a 5 minute walk and by the bus stop. Guests do most of their shopping there and found the prices to be very reasonable.
For informal dining the local restaurant is Paw-paws, on the South Shore Road, and very popular with beach goers...For more elegant outings there are three handsome restaurants at The Reefs Hotel, as well as the dining facilities at the Southampton Princess and at the Henry V111 Pub and Grill. Whites Supermarket is your closest grocery. Nearby beaches include the magnificent Horseshoe Bay with its extensive amenities (café, showers and toilets, beach chair rentals and so on), and Church Bay which is lovely for snorkeling, all located on the beautiful South Shore. We encourage you to bring along a box of frozen or prepared treats. Coffee, teas, biscuits, sweets, meats and fish and other delectables as part of your luggage will save you time as well as trouble upon arrival. Have your taxi driver stop off on the way home for perishables. Just don’t import in your luggage fruit or vegetables: they will be confiscated in the ongoing effort to keep harmful pests from the island. Besides- the local stores have every delectable item you’ll need for the perfect holiday!
The closest formal restaurant to the house would be The Waterlot as well as all the other restaurants at the Southampton Princess Hotel. We are 5 minute drive from Henry the 8th, Tio Peppi, Pizza House and Mr Chicken which are also take aways. Fourways Inn is excellent and is 10 minutes drive away as are the restaurants on South Shore at Elbow Beach and The Reefs.
