Balconi Apartment is on the fifth floor of a palazzo dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries on a beautiful small square with a central fountain in an historical neighborhood. From here, one can walk to all of Rome's most famous sites.
The nearby Campo de' Fiori, a square with a bustling morning market. Right in the heart of the ancient Jewish quarter with its narrow, cobblestone streets is lined with small family-run shops in addition to four ancient temples.
The Pantheon and the Piazza di Navona are each about a 5 minute walk away and the Capitoline Museums and splendid views from the Capitoline Hill, and the Roman and Imperial Forums are maybe 7 minutes away. Walking south from the apartment one quickly reaches the Tiber River and crosses over the island Tiberina and into the enchanting area known as Trastevere with its narrow alleys, artisan shops, and restaurants.
