A secluded quiet, three bedroom hide-away nestled in the maple hardwoods of northern Minnesota. Enjoy the solitude of the north woods lake area on the shores of Shirt Lake. This relaxing retreat home has a primitive 270' shoreline with a private dock and boat tie-up area.
Whether your idea is lying in your favorite recliner reading your favorite book or listening to the call of the loons, sand-hill cranes, bald-eagles, or watching deer or just the natural sounds of nature; this is your place!
Also consider this destination for your viewing of fall colors; it is beautiful here the end of September and early October. This time of the year can be some of the best weather ever.
The home is a two level walkout with a full vaulted kitchen/dining area, oak cabinetry, double sliding glass doors that access the decks and porch area facing the lake. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king size bed,and a roll-away single bed, with a private deck, plus one additional bedroom (queen bed), and a full bath with a jetted tub. A two-car garage and storage area are connected to the main level.
The lower level walk-out area has a huge family room with a full entertainment center, wet bar area, storage, bath and one bedroom with a queen bed, queen sofa bed, and a twin-bunk bed, in family room as well as a self standing gas fireplace. This unit will sleep up to eleven (11) guests. The family room has a sliding glass door, which accesses a 480 sq. ft. patio & garden area overlooking an immaculate well-landscaped yard and meditation area. Lawn furniture is provided with a cedar-pole swing set,a fire ring, Bar-B-Que Grill, and yard-games for those evening get togethers. Enjoy the area, which overlooks the lake and wildlife area.
This home has over 2304 sq. ft. of living space and 1152 sq. ft. of covered porch and decks with an attached 504 sq. ft. garage.
Within five miles you can be on an championship golf course or dining at the world famous Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort and Conference Center, or fishing on Mille Lacs; one of the best premiere walleye lakes in the nation! Mille Lacs Grand Casino is only twenty-two miles from our door step. Several other excellent restaurants and golf courses are in the area. This area is known for it's berry picking during season too. There are dozens of good fishing lakes, including our own 'Shirt Lake' known for great bass, northern pike, sunfish, and crappie fishing. If you enjoy having a fish fry like we do; the best time to catch a fresh-meal off our dock is during the months of May, June, and early July. We are located in prime cross country sking, snowmobiling area with lots of trails near-by. You can snowmobile off the back yard and access directly to the state snowmobile trail system from the property.
A boat landing is available if you choose to bring your own boat/pontoon or personnal watercraft. A small 14' fishing row-boat & 17' canoe is available free of charge with vacation rental along with the oars, paddles, and life-jackets. You may bring your own out-board motor for the 14' fishing boat if you desire too!

THIS IS OUR THIRD SEASON OFFERING THIS RENTAL; WE ARE PROUD TO SAY THAT WE HAVE HAD MUCH SUCCESS IN RENTING THIS RENTAL OUT AND ARE CONTINUALLY LOOKING TO EXPAND OUR CLIENTAL-ALL YEAR AVAILABLE; GIVE US A TRY, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

$ 100.00 for each addtional persons over six (6) people. We require at the time of the confirmed reservation a 25 % deposit of the total rental amount. Within three weeks of check-in we require the balance of the rental amount or sooner, plus any security/damage deposits. Note: To date we have refunded 100 % of all security/damage deposits upon check-out housekeeping team inspection! We would consider weekend rental only if not booked by the week; prefer a three (3) night minimum. No cleaning fee charged on stays over three (3) nights, under the week stay we charge the housekeeping fee of $ 100.00. Cancellations: Up to 30 days of reservation date, less our bookkeeping and reservation fee of $ 100.00.
WEEKLY RENTALS run from Fri-Fri Rentals; Arrive after 4:00 PM, Depart by 10:00 AM.

Lake Superior Agate hunting, Wildlife & Bird Watching, Visiting the world famous 'Mall of America' in Bloomington, or the renowned seaport of Duluth-Superior (each just two hours away) also only twenty minutes distants is the 'Grand Casino' Mille Lacs, and five minutes from Ruttger's Championship Golf Course & Conference Center too. Excellent strawberry, blueberry and raspberry picking during season in the area.
