spacious cabins, with their rustic décor, each sit on acres of land, allowing for complete privacy.
Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, a stones throw from Fontana Lake and a bountiful trout stream, sit our rustic two bedroom cabins. They are fully furnished and afford all the amenities: dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, satellite TV, phone, linens, and an outdoor grill, fire pit and picnic table. Enjoy the cool mountain evenings on your covered porch complete with rocking chairs. Sleeping Dog Cabin Rentals is ideally located. We are just six miles west of Bryson City and 15 minutes from The Smoky Mountains National Park, White water Rafting, Canoing, Horseback Riding, Hiking and Bike Trails, The Smoky Mountain
Railroad, Harrahs Cherokee Casino and The Smoky Mountain Country Club and Golf Course. We hope you'll take advantage of our unique services and begin your vacation totally relaxed:

After a relaxing evening in your quiet cabin in the woods, it's time to explore, and enjoy this mountain world of family fun. Bryson City, with its spectacular mountain views, is a small, quaint city in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina that abounds with outdoor activities.
Raft the Nantahala River, one of North Carolina's favorite rivers for white water rafting and kayaking. Visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the most visited National Parks in the
United States. Go boating on Fontana Lake, which has the highest dam east of the Rockies. Bike or hike the numerous mountain trails; there are trails to accommodate both novice and seasoned hikers alike. Visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation and the Cherokee Heritage
Museum, where you'll learn about the Cherokee's culture and heritage. Fish in the clear streams and creeks,for the best trout fishing around.
