Nuthatch Cottage is nestled at the end of Sleepy Hollow Lane, a quiet neighborhood road. Enter the home from a wrap-around deck into the kitchen, which provides all the appliances and cookware you will need for your vacation meals. Opening to the right of the kitchen are the dining and living areas. Dining room seating for 6 is available, and sliding glass doors to the deck and a wall of lake view windows make every meal a pleasure. Immediately off the dining area is a comfortable living room, complete with television, wood burning fireplace and quaint cottage décor.
To the rear of the house, located off the kitchen, are two bedrooms. The first bedroom provides a double bed, and plenty of dresser space for your clothing. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, and two windows to leave open at night for fresh lake air. A full bathroom with shower/tub combo is also located in the back of the home.
The lake view deck wraps from the back kitchen entrance around to the front of the home. It provides a propane grill, and dining seating for four. Located five steps down is a picnic table set, nestled on a patio underneath two large shade trees. The lush lawn slopes down towards the waterfront, which features a 40 ft l-shaped dock with swim ladder. A firepit is also available on the front lawn, so be sure to bring everything for your s’mores.
The waterfront for Nuthatch Cottage is shared with Sleepy Hollow Cottages, but there is plenty of lawn space for all. Trident Marine is located across the lake, and a canoe is provided for use with this cottage. The small town of Honeoye is located to the north, and you will find stores and restaurants to enjoy. Located to the south is Naples, which offers more shopping and dining establishments, as well as a couple of wineries.
