Experience ziplining at the Princeville Ranch, kayaking or snorkeling at the fabulous Hanalei Bay, plus van tours of many movie locations like Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark or the coastal tour. The area features ATV trips, dive tours, Na Pali Coast boat or helicopter tours, fishing, hiking to fantastic vistas, plus not to mention all the beach fun at the many accessible beaches and parks. This is the place to plan your next vacation. We love it and so will you.
The Plantation at Princevile is one of the newer enclaves of condominiums in Princeville. Lush grounds, fabulous pool and spa area, & exercise facilities complete this resort within the Princeville Resort. Across the street from the Makai Golf Course with the mountains as the backdrop. Special golf rates offered for resort guests, discounts also available for various tee times. Just a short drive to the Prince Course, the more challenging of the two. Close to grocery store, post office, restaurants, & gas station. Park close by with playground equipment for the kids.
Kauai offers something for everyone. Na Aina Kai Botanic Garden is a short twenty minute drive away from your resort home. Beautiful bronze statues, tropical plants, lush forests, and beautiful ocean vistas make this a memorable tour. The children's area is so special with the huge fountain of 'Jack and the beanstalk.' Kilauea Lighthouse point affords views of the coast line and the birds & whales that come to winter on Kauai's north shore. The town of Hanalei is a quick ten minute drive from Princeville. Shops abound, diverse restaurants to choose from, and the weekly farmer's market on Saturday morning - all give you the flavor of this special community. The bay and pier with 'Bali Hai' in the distance were the backdrop for the movie 'South Pacific.' Snorkeling, surfing, kayaking - your choice.

Fabulous condo. This is NOT your typical boxed room type lodging. Lots of windows with a moving floorplan. The owners thought of most everything. Loved to ride the mountain bikes at sunrise around the quiet area. Hanalei Bay is perfect too. We took the rolling ice chest(nice feature)full of food to the beach and used the snorkling gear, boogie boards and beach towels that is provided. Also nice to NOT have a noisey room air conditioner thundering through the home. The cental A/C was great, and the 4 ceiling fans makes for enjoyable sleeping and we could hear the pools waterfall right outside the window. During the day, we were in the middle of the best things to do on the island. We became addicted to the wonderful golf course and it's open scenery right across the way. This is the true Hawaii we always wanted. Kauai is the best and we will definitely be back to the Plantation again.
