Upscale, well-appointed, breezy & airy, Buena Vista is one of our favorites on Tortola! The villa is perched on a quiet hillside above Long Bay and has magnificent views of the beach, surrounding islands, and above all, the most incredible sunsets. A short 6-7-minute walk will bring you to Long Bay's beach.
Buena Vista is comprised of 2 pavilions: the north pavilion consists of a spacious, airy dining/living area with broad verandah, galley-style kitchen, pantry and powder room. The living room is handsomely furnished with seagrass chairs and opens directly onto the view. The south pavilion houses the master bedroom suite & study (with sofabed), the guest bedroom, and a full laundry room. Between the north & south pavilions is a plunge pool and outdoor terrace & deck, providing the perfect spot for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade.
Buena Vista is perfect for honeymooners and families alike. Besides the beauty & convenience of Long Bay beach, Buena Vista guests can easily enjoy the attractions of Cane Garden Bay, with its great beach, restaurants & night life, or the pristine isolation of Smugglers Cove beach, both within an easy 10-minute drive. The resort area of West End/Sopers Hole, with boutiques, restaurants, watersports & ferries, is also 10 minutes by car.
For larger parties traveling together, Buena Vista is a 1-minute walk to Sunset House (RH SUN - just below, on the same driveway) and a 5-minute walk to Tranquil House (RH TRA).
The security deposit is $500 (refundable 45 days after departure).
Villa rates exclude 7% tax & 10% service.
