Kismet, located on the summit of Maria's Bluff on St John, offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the island (sunrise & sunset!), and sets a new and superlative standard among St John's luxury villas. This sumptuous, spacious and fully-screened home is designed with a Moroccan flair and is luxuriously furnished with comfort in mind.
Kismet has 3 fully air-conditioned pavilions, with bedroom suites in 2 of the pavilions, and the Great Room in a 3rd pavilion with living & dining areas, movie theater and a gourmet kitchen. Kismet's screening room features a 50" plasma screen, Dolby digital surround-sound system, 6 plush reclining theater seats, and a collection of over 1000 movies (on laser discs, DVDs & videos - select your movie with a simple click of the remote!).
The Master pavilion features a sitting room, bedroom & bath (with a steam shower & bathtub). The adjacent poolside pavilion features 2 bedrooms, with stairs leading down to a breezy patio, Moroccan fountain and 2 further bedroom suites. There's also an air-conditioned billiard room (with 2 single daybeds, wet bar & full bath). Kismet sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms, although 2 more people may be accommodated in the billiard room (for an additional charge).
All 3 pavilions open onto a tiled courtyard with sparkling pool & hot tub and magnificent views. Just off the courtyard is a garden planted with exotic date palms, majestic royal palms, tropical flowers & fruits, amid private seating areas for quiet moments. Located above the master bedroom pavilion via an exterior staircase, the Sun Room offers spectacular views of the pool courtyard and miles beyond to the horizon. Banquettes within this scenic aerie are strewn with colorful, plush cushions from which to enjoy sunsets and cocktails.
Kismet's unique location combines convenience with seclusion: the villa is only 8 minutes from town, 5 minutes from the Westin Resort's sandy beach, & 15 minutes to St John's world-renowned North Shore beaches, some of the finest in the Caribbean!
PLEASE NOTE: Villa rates include a private air-conditioned taxi van to meet your incoming flight at the St Thomas airport and drive you in comfort to the ferry dock, where a private water taxi will whisk you directly to St John's National Park dock. There you'll be met by Kismet's concierge in a private customized Tundra safari wagon, and be escorted to the villa.
