Located just 5 minutes south of world-famous Freeport village is the Fairfileds Farm Estate on Maquoit Bay. With incredible views of the water, this wonderful 5 bedroom home is a restored 1842 saltwater farm.
The farm is beautifully decorated with appropriate furnishings expected in a property of this stature. A large kitchen at the center of it all is a great spot to stir up gourmet meals.
There is a nice garden area out front with a child's gym, and behind, on the ocean side of the house, is a long covered porch with comfortable chairs facing the water.
The shore at this house is tidal. Kayaking and exploring is possible, but swimming isn't desirable.
This is a great property for you and your large group of family and friends to get together and base your Maine vacation from. Take day trips to Popham Beach, Portland, or some of the islands in Casco Bay. In the evening, jaunt into town to Ben & Jerry's for a fresh scoop of Vermont ice cream (with Maine blueberries on top).
