The Captain's Cottage is a completely renovated, New England village style vacation home with all new furnishings and amenities. It is a 3-minute walk to the center of Camden and has a view of the sea and harbor from the front yard. This is a village style, four bedroom, three bathroom house with many amenities. Gorgeous hardwood floors set the mood of the spacious living room and dining room. The table can seat eight. The large fireplace in the living room provides a cozy gathering place for those cool Maine evenings. A bright, cheerful kitchen features an island with seating for two. You'll enjoy preparing fresh Maine seafood and lobster easily found at nearby markets during your stay. The first floor also has a delightful front porch sun room with a comfortable sofa and rocking chair which faces the harbor. It also has a laundry room with washer & dryer, and a convenient entry to a large backyard featuring a deck with outdoor furniture and barbecue.
The first floor area also has a full bathroom with shower, and one guest room with a double sized bed and polished hardwood floors.
The living room stairs lead upwards to three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second level. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with private en suite bath, and TV. The front bedroom features a queen 4-poster bed, and TV. The middle bedroom has twin beds.
The front and middle bedrooms share a second upstairs bathroom which has a Jacuzzi for 2 and a separate shower. Bedrooms are carpeted throughout the second floor and have ample closet space.
All linens, sheets, and towels are provided; the kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage is ready for your arrival and after unpacking, you can immediately start enjoying your relaxing seaside vacation.
